If you're a beginner, this is a good place to practice until the University starts building on the property. It will soon be part of the new medical school , so get out there quickly before it closes.
The old Austin public course may go away in a few years when the land is redeveloped, but for now, it’s cheap , playable and fun.

Not in good shape . Fairways so hard I was practically driving the green on the par 4s and was on some of the par 5s in 2!
This is a decent course with fairly wide fairways and very reasonable rates. The front nine was fairly flat compared to the back nine, where the hills and slopes present some challenges. - Eric Mitchell
