Serves only breakfast and brunch . In a land of bacon-heavy brunches , breakfast plates arrive loaded with baked eggs and trout , avocados and greens, and other simple delights. [Eater 38 Member]
Awesome customer service. Their pies are super tempting, but I decided to skip it this time and failed to do so. They forgot about my coffee and brought their delicious honey pie as a compensation :-)
Charming, lovely, and friendly , with delicious food. The egg sandwich was delectable, and my husband loved his (ENORMOUS) breakfast burrito . Gen Mai chai tea was very good, as was the coffee .
A sweetly minimal café , with rustic wood floors and tables and tall mason jars , is a welcome new neighbor on a residential block in the Northeast. Don’t leave without a slice of homemade honey pie .
Great breakfast and lunch fare with baked goods and breads made in house. There's always a line , but it's worth the wait. Lots of hipsters and Instagrammable moments!
The ambiance (with records from next door playing) and the decor that's both modern and rustic feeling . The smoked trout is tasty, but so is the honey pie , and the BLB.
All three pies I sampled, taking to go, where spectacular. Crust done right! Salted Honey Pie is great, but the spiced pear with crumble topping was the real winner this time!
Great breakfast options , as well as lunch in a section of north Portland that doesn't have many restaurant options. Reasonable prices too. Best to go early or late, long waits due to recent write-up.
Delicious bacon and breakfast burrito . They also have an adorably 11.2oz Belgian lager . Be prepared to wait, but be excited. It's worth it.
Very interesting concept of self service. Do not sit down before you order because you might find yourself feeling like an idiot when you're asked to get up. Get toast with marion berry jam . Amazing
The NE hipster brunch spot . To avoid the frustratingly long waits , go on a weekday or Sa/Su before 10am. We love the breakfast plate , corncakes and egg sandwich . Counter order then wait for a table.
You can't go wrong... but the breakfast burrito is very right. Corncakes make for a great app for the table. You won't have room for pie ...so get it go!
Charming and delicious -- even the toast is not to be missed. Be prepared to sit cozily with your neighbor or wait for a table, as seating is limited.
Honey pie is amazing, atmosphere and food were great. Definitely recommend the Good Buddy sandwich . Brioche was on point
great restaurant . good vibe. good spot for breakfast or brunch . cute ceramics for sale.
The place, the atmosphere, the corn molasses bread , they have a good chocolate chip cookie
Granola ! So yummy and looks beautiful too.
The wait may be long but the chilaquiles are worth it. Grab a cookie and coffee while you wait
Their egg sandwich and breakfast burrito are sooo satisfying.
The food and ambiance are wonderful. Just budget in most of the morning, because it will take quite some time to get your food.
Come here for vanilla roobios tea ! To go!
Great food but be prepared for a long wait . Nice if you want a casual relaxing day out, but not for the impatient.
Very small and crowded . Potato plate was quite unique and delicious. Not big portion , though.
If you're on the NE side of town , visit this quaint little breakfast place.
Favorite breakfast place in PDX. Wait can be long, but won't be unrewarded.
The corn cakes are to die for :)
Are you kidding?? Honey cake w fruit and cream 💣
All wonderful home baked goodies
The lines are crazy. The honey pie is still worth it.
get a pastry to have with coffee while you wait
Haven't been myself, but continue to see lots of friends checking in on Foursquare lately; must be good.
The best breakfast brunch and lunch spot in town !
Breakfast burrito is tightly wrapped deliciousness.
if you're not wearing clogs you're not invited
Good breakfast
Soups are good and made to order
Oh honey pie , my position is tragic Come and show me the magic
Breakfast took forever to arrive, and the place reeks of pretentiousness . The coffee was good, but the food portions were too small and overpriced to warrant the hours we spent waiting for it.
Potato plate was delicious
People watching , tea , homey , beautiful, yummy
Good buddy sandwich is insane
Food's great. Seats are rare.
Everything is real good
Twee and adorable like Marcel the Shell opened a restaurant .
I really wish people would READ addresses before labeling. West of Williams is NORTH. THIS IS NORTH.
I love everything here!
where it's okay to have a salad for breakfast ❤️
French toast is top notch
The BLB is recommended
