Locals spot that's darn good. Fish-n-chips with the tarter wow! Batter is light, crips and fish is tasty. Never had tarter like this and compliments well , great beer selection . Pizza smelled great.

Had the Mac and cheese with jalapeños and bacon as well as the cottage pie (shepherds pie but with beef ). Both were phenomenal. People rave about the bread pudding . Haven't tried it yet but will!

Everything! I love the steak and Guinness stew , corned beef and cabbage , and you can't leave without the bread pudding - and I don't even like bread pudding !

Our standard order is their fish and chips , wild mushroom pizza and truffle mac . Very cool staff ! Make sure to ask for the secret hot sauce also known as “Thunder” sauce! 😜 Oh and bread pudding !!

Irish Car Bombs, pictured here, are a must. Two of the bartenders partook as well . The Owner is one of the nicest people I met in Tahoe & gave us a table without a wait when we ate there a 2nd time.

They prepared our fish we caught with Tahoe Sport Fishing Company. Amazing experience . They accommodated all 15 of us kids and all. Great selection of Beer as well .

I dare you to find better Fish & Chips than the deliciousness that's served here. When it comes to pub grub, these guys take it to the next level with home made and locally procured ingredients.

Brought our trout we caught from the trout farm here for them to cook. $19 per person to prepare the dish. Also, there is a 15% discount if you take a picture of their name card from the trout farm

They roasted a whole pig out back, paired it with mashed potatoes and veggies and had it as an off menu special. Fantastic! And Bob the Rott is worth stopping in for all by himself

Wow! We had shepards pie and fish & chips . The fish and chips were very good, and their most popular, but the shepards pie was so incredibly flavorful, left the fish in the dust. I inhaled my pie !

Favorite place in South Lake ! Always a great beer selection , and truly amazing food that seems to go unappreciated. The staff is awesome and makes you feel like family!

So Scottish, there's kilts on the wall. Dead in spring, lines out the door in winter, but always a good time. Start w/ the truffled mac and cheese . It's topped with a graham cracker crust .

Great burgers , excellent thin crust pizza , incredible bread pudding . Don't think twice, this place is deceptively awesome.

I'm pretty sure that they served me the best meal I've eaten... EVER. I intend to plan my next trip to Tahoe around eating at MacDuffs again.

Their calamari and truffle mac and cheese is legit. I dont even like mac and cheese but even i know this is bomb. The pizza was meh...you can get better elsewhere. Dont get the fish burger .
