Sharing borders with India, China, Laos & Thailand, Burmese cuisine is inevitably influenced by the spices, seasonings, & cooking styles of its neighbors.

My ideal meal: paratha + dip , tea leaf salad , spicy tofu , chicken with basil (ask for minced chicken ). Will blow your mind. Whiskey cocktails are all good as are the mojitos .
My favorite item on the menu is the Bun Tay Kauser. It is a slightly spicy coconut chicken curry noodle dish that's mixed together right at your table. The samosas are a great way to start the meal.
Ordered 7 dishes- all fantastic & the generous portion is an added bonus. Wide variety of menu items (something for everyone), fair price , well stocked bar & cocktail options. Overall highly recommend
LAPHET THOKE Tea Leaf Salad (fermented tea leaf dish tossed with a crispy mixture of nuts , chickpeas , sesame seeds , fried garlic , with lettuce. Contains shrimp powder and fish sauce )
NAN GYI DOK (Flour noodles with coconut chicken curry , roasted chickpea flour, hard-boiled egg , cabbage , wontons , turmeric, chili and fried onions )
Samosa soup is amazing. Love the platha with dip and the vegetarian noodle salad . tea leaf salad is very popular! Be ready to wait in line . Try to call ahead and get on the wait list.
Amazing garlic shrimp and eggplant ! Great dip coming with bread . Burmese style curry only average though. Totally worth visiting overall!
Yeah, yeah... The TeaLeaf salad rules. Really like the spicy dishes too. Chili Beef , dry fried green beans . Some people say they didn't have a high chair but they do now. We used it today.
Everything I tried was incredible, truly A+. I had the beef and potato curry , but we also got samosas and tea leaf salad . The coconut rice was great.
platha and dip (coconut chicken curry ) may have just made my top ten appetizers of all time

This place is incredible. Tea leaf salad is amazing. And don't miss the mango chicken and garlic noodles , they are super delicious as well .
@Burma Superstar, I love this place every dish is the yummiest, but I really love the basil chicken and be sure to add the coconut rice which is the best Ive ever tasted.
Get one of everything. Spicy eggplant and shrimp was 💣 as well as the tofu and chicken . Bun noodles were flavorful, yet fresh.
the tea leaf salad is amazing. The highlights of the salad are the nuts , fried garlic and the tea leaf paste. Also had the chicken with basil ; the sauce was spicy but had a sweet consistency
BURMESE STYLE CHICKEN CURRY (Our specialty red curry with chicken thighs , chickpeas , pickled mango and potatoes )
Platha and Dip (Known as “thousand layer bread ” for its crispy , chewy, buttery layers. Served with a coconut chicken dip .)
In addition to the tea leaf salad and the samusa soup , go for one of the chicken dishes (with basil or mint ). You'll be full if sharing for two, but will round out the meal nicely.
Tea leaf salad is a must. The samusa soup is a definite winner and for vegetarians the red curry and spicy noodles both delicious.
BURMESE SAMUSAS (Four handmade pastries filled with curried potatoes , mint , masala spices and green peas )
The tea leaf salad and and the chili lamb with a side of coconut rice are enough to keep me coming back time and again. The rest of the dishes are hit and miss.
Eating vegan here is easy and delicious! The rainbow salad (no wontons ) is the best. Sesame tofu , mango tofu , coconut rice ...And the Pear Ginger Kiss is such a refreshing cocktail .
Food is always perfect! I don't know how they do it. Coconut rice , chicken noodle soup , and tea leaf salad are a must.
Seems like everything on the menu is great. Obvi you have to try the tea leaf salad . The bar is excellent, as well .
Sesame beef and coconut rice . Of course, you must get the tea leaf salad , too, but that's a given.
Curry dishes are amazing, goes surprisingly well with mojitos . Worth the wait!
tea leaf salad is a signature dish. you can buy a starter kit to take home.
Tea leaf salad lived up to the hype. Garlic noodles were pretty good as well , avoid the house beer .
All of the food was delicious but the ginger chilli pork was REALLY delicious.
Everyone swears by the tea leaf salad — it's good, but chili beef with a side of coconut rice is not to be missed!
Tea leaf salad is the bomb. Also coconut rice . House made hot sauce is really good too.
All delicious, but the jack fruit dessert (nutella spring rolls with banana , strawberries , coconut ice cream , jack fruit ice cream ) is just absurd. Yum!
lamb kebat: stir fried lamb with onion and green pepper
Enjoyed the tea leaf salad & samusa soup ; curry eggplant and garlic noodles were satisfactory but not as well composed
