Very amazing museum , best I've been to! I would recommend the IMAX and Lightening Shows, they're insanely awesome! The food there is great at the Cafe , along with friendly volunteers and staff !

Jeff S.

It's a great place to visit with so many exhibits . They did a nice job on their Skyscraper ! Achievement and Impact tribute. LSC is a fun interactive science museum for all.

Over a decade ago, the US Department of Energy installed a wind turbine at LSC to demonstrate the feasibility of using wind as a source of energy in urban areas. Check it out from the 4th floor deck.

Dan Betz

Long lines and big crowds on rainy days. You can skip the line by buying tix on your phone and pick them up at the welcome counter IF you can navigate their mobile site.

Nicole Rovig

The best science center I’ve ever been to. Kids love to walk the high beam in the construction room. It requires an appointment unless it’s a slow day at the Center.

Mark Dunec

This is a great place to learn about alternative energy solutions. As a Congressman, I will promote investment in green and renewable energy. #NJ11 <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://www.markdunecforcongress.com/issues#FR-ei"target="_blank" data-sig="lthlGqLrbmFVg2wPAaU253bUkdQ=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://www.markdunecforcongress.com/issues#FR-ei</a>

This zany science museum is home to the first Hoberman sphere . Though geared toward littles (the calendar is packed with interactive learning events ), it brings out the childish nerd in any adult.

Monica Bon

So much fun. They also started doing 3rd Thursday of the month “after dark” events for adults where they have a DJ , food and drinks. So fun!

The Ritz-Carlton

Liberty science center is the perfect family fun escape from the snowy streets of NYC. Just a quick ferry ride across the hudson river from lower Manhattan.

Greg Battle

Incredible spot for kids and adults alike. Worth becoming a member, but I hate the fact that I have to pay for parking every time regardless. Kinda weak.

Angel Martinez

Do NOT do the interactive movie . A DVD movie carried to a classroom (theater ) and played for you to watch a child's movie . The most interaction you get is putting the seat down to sit.

Theodore Kim

An excellent place for kids to run around and learn about science. Great views of Lower Manhattan are an added plus.

Shay

4 floors of amazing science and entertainment. Try to walk the I-Beam on the 1st floor. It's scary.

Lauren Alexa

They do events after hours that are 21+! So much to see and they actually have decent food here as well . Definitely worth a trip to see!

$7 parking even for members since lot is not owned by the center.. But overall, a good value for the kids! Plenty of fun learning. Place is huge!

Matt K

Amazing building. My son and I spent 5 hours here on a Saturday! Loved it.

Rikin Diwan

The guitar exhibit is definitely worth it for kids and adults alike. #jerseycity

Jeffrey Moreira

If you have a Bank of America card, you can get free admission for yourself every first full weekend of the month!

Matt Hantz

Definitely take the time to watch an IMAX or 3D movie , but check show times before you come; they're different weekend vs weekday.

TinaMarie Sweets

Everything! The information given for each exhibit is extensive. Kids must try the touch tunnel ! Love it!

Deana Davoudiasl

It can get very busy with various summer day camps in the mornings during the summer.

Jason Shao

Afternoon crowds due to school trips can make this a madhouse and lines at exhibits like touch tunnel absurd

K W

Between labor day and memorial day (so the summer) the museum is free for active duty military and 4 family members.

James Kiernan

Plenty of activities to keep kids busy but get there early before it gets crowded .

Alejandro Melendez

When in the Skyscraper exhibit , make sure you know the difference between the Curtain Wall Test and the Wind Tunnel Lab. Curtain Wall is the one you go in and sit!

KuKu Montalvo

If you go, go on the weekday, you will have the museum to yourself!

James Corden does a fabulous job explaining the properties of electricity at the Nikola Tesla Lighting Show. ???? ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ????

Wish I had a kid to bring Super fun and interactive installations!

Jessica

Start at the top and work your way down. See an IMAX movie . The cafe is a bit expensive as you might expect, but a nice selection beyond burgers and pizza . Read more

Aaron Laudermith

I had to drag my two year old away from the Bob the Builder exhibit . He loved it. I loved him being entertained for so long.

Mital Vora

Toddler activities , aquarium , dinosaurs ' fossils . Good day to spend during cold and rainy days

Bank of America card holders get in for free on the first full weekend of every month up until December

Did you know? At Liberty Science Center, you can see a movie at the nation's largest IMAX Dome Theater !

Ryan Brenizer

Fabtastic place and good for qeekebds because of limited capacity and mask mandate

Cynthia Lin

Super interactive with so many different exhibits !

Anthony Chouloute

The skywalk (part of the skyscraper exhibit ) is an experience everyone should try.

J N

I went here as a child and I thought it was awesome. Will definitly take my kids when they are ready. (Born and raised.)

Patchx

I enjoyed my day there, it was fun learning and seeing how stuff work

Nate Folkert

have a chik-fil-a picnic after you science

Brett Krasnove

Kids will like the touch tunnel and the infinity climber.

Debbie Ruiz

There is plenty to see and do for all ages.

TheParrisFoundation

Great venue for kids to learn & explore with interactive , hands-on science! Check out the current exhibitions : http://bit.ly/py7wp4

After the museum closes at 5pm, the Science Center shows first-run and classic children’s movies in its 3-D and IMAX theaters . Powered by ParentsConnect.com

Filthy, obviously, but situation is so dire there is not a single working hand sanitizer dispenser mid day and the bathroom looks like a bomb went off.

KIDTIP: If you live in Hoboken or JC near the light rail with a toddler then get Membership. Much cheaper than Kidville and Nanny can go.
