My first choice when I am need of art supplies. Well stocked & reasonably priced, Always have a feeling thatthey care and that I am participating in the artist community simply by shopping here.

This place is like a mixture between SCRAP's ambiance and FLAX's selection. I feel very earthy and community oriented when I shop here as opposed to some corporation!

Employee owned store in the historic berkeley free market building. Look for the history plaque ! Artists studios upstairs, including one formerly used by Diebenkorn.
