Awesome pub . Good classic pub food . The garden is perfect on a sunny day. Winter's special is the fireplace .

A great rest stop close to the the towpath, just a short distance along the main road above. Beers are great, food ordinary and unexceptional, but cannot be faulted and served fast by friendly staff .

Gorgeous beer garden & friendly service . Pro tip though - if you’re going to have small portion sizes, use smaller plates ????
