Dog Park @ Chatfield Park is a dog park Littleton located in United States.
Littleton , CO 80125 United States
It's a huge area for dogs to play, run, and swim and plenty of space for pet owners to walk. It is so worth buying the pet pass.
Be careful around the ponds when they begin to ice over. The park is still a great place even after snow as they plow the road and the parking lots . They use to plow the walking path too.
Don't speed and make sure you have your dog park pass. The new bunch of "rangers" are more interested in giving tickets than helping keep the park safe like last years rangers.
There is a hose to rinse off when you leave the park near the restrooms . Great for muddy paws.
Bring a towel the park gets especially muddy after rain or snow melt and bring water for your dog in the winter, drinking fountains are closed till summer
Be careful around the ponds as they freeze over this winter. Make sure you have good voice control over younger dogs to keep them from falling through thin ice. At least one pup drowned last year.
Fantastic spot to let the dogs run and play in the water
If you see wildlife in danger even snakes , alert the rangers.
My favorite place to bring Thiago
Bring extra tennis balls. It is good karma to leave a ball at the dog park .

Snakes , but no danger . The ones we've seen are corn snakes which are non poisonous.
Bring your own dog bags & use them!

Being a mask to breath through all the high winds. It's a swamp out here thanks to the improvements. Wheelchair can no longer function here. That's just criminal.
The dirt trails adjacent to the river, south east of the gravel ponds on the south end of the park are great for mountain biking & running. - Castle
A COMSA membership enables you to swim here Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, May through September. It's a great place to practice for triathlons & way more fun than pool swims! - David Shoemaker

Great place to take your dog(s) for socializing and exercise. Located right off one of the many recreational paths in Highlands Ranch, this is one of a handful of off-leash dog parks in the area. - Sean Donnelly
