The Westin Tampa Waterside

Not the most inspired SPG property , but a helpful and hospitable staff and a waterfront location in walking distance of downtown more than compensate for its somewhat cookie-cutter feel.

I stayed in room 525. The room is GREAT. I have not smelled mold any where. Hotel is NOT 'cookie cutter' in ANY way! Staff is totally awesome. Views are Great! Why do some people tell lies for tips?

Plat members- beware. I had been upgraded to Presidential Suite the am I left for Tampa & downgraded to a corner room overlooking cars which kept me up all night. Watch ur reservation & ask questions!

Great views and comfy beds , although the room is very moldy/musty smelling. Happy other than that....

Changing hotels tomorrow...wedding here tonight, and there's a loud DJ music and screaming that I can hear on the 8th floor...Unacceptable, I'll be at the Marriott tomorrow - which is much nicer!

Very comfy bed , nice harbour view . Easy check in and out.

Don't be alone in elevator 3 and if you are alone have your phone or you could be stuck in the elevator fit an hour like I was today Feb

Everything was good except for the cleaning staff - not managed well . After complaining 4 times our room got cleaned at 6:30pm.

liked this property very well but could use some work in the bathtub!

Nice view of the bay . Comfortable beds . Only parking options are valet or a rather expensive near by parking garage , however.

Stop in to the lobby bar and meet Graig. 26 years in the same hotel ! Great service and friendly .

Get drinks at the bar by the pool. Cost is at least $4 cheaper than the indoor restaurant .

Cleaning lady just pulled up the sheets, took the towels today and didn't leave any new ones for us...room smells like mold...won't stay here again, very overpriced and not as nice as the Marriott...

Beautiful hotel

Rude and unhelpful staff , our room/hallway reeked of mold and my best friend's bridal party was kicked out of our room AS WE WERE GETTING READY FOR HER WEDDING due to scheduling issues on their part.

M-F from 5-7 mojitos in the lobby. Tasty and free!

Not the greatest choice for a #TH, but it worked. However, I wouldn't recommend room 525.
