The Town Hall Square is the Western center of Copenhagen. The Town Hall Square was Copenhagen's hay market when the previous town hall was located at Nytorv. Rådhuspladsen is the venue of events from celebration of the national football team to celebrating New Year's Eve and temporary exhibitions.

Be sure to take a peek inside city hall and check out the World Clock, featuring the world's slowest gear. Best part is going around back to take a look at the inner workings and iPad explanations!
One of my favourite squares in Copenhagen, always full of people. Rådhus is a must-see
If you come here to celebrate New Year's Eve then bring protective eye wear, and it's a good idea to wear clothes it's ok to burn holes in. Some rockets and such end up among the spectators.
Copenhagen's former hay market when the town hall was at Gammeltorv/Nytorv. The western end of Strøget starts here. Lots of bus routes intersect here, and most night buses start from here.
If this place doesn't give you chills, you've been culturally numbed by this being country #10 on a 7 day European tour .
Nice please to take a look at this city 's wonderful architecture (and people watch )
The Free Walking tours leave from the steps every day at 11 am. A three hour tour and good fun.
Beautiful plaza as amAzing as the other grand cities in Europe
An amazing spot for people watching . Sit down on one of the benches for a while and enjoy the show!
Very happening square. Lots of places to have a drink and various snack vans.
Nice square where event will hold.
Shirty during the day, amazing during events .
Have you been inside of the Rådhus ? You'd be surprised at how beautiful it is!

Netter Ort um sich auf eine Bank zu setzen, einen Hot Dog zu essen und dabei Touristen beobachten. Nebenher noch bei der H.C. Andersen Statue vorbei schauen.

At the end of the Pedestranian street, before the old harbour; this place is great for shopping, dining and hanging out at the weekends. It is one of the most important tourist attactions. Must see! - Murat
Well, what to say about this place? Two things: get in (it is worth it to know this separated civilization inside the city) and dont take pictures! They're really serious about this! - Hildo Junior
Really nice square in central Copenhagen with a nice mix of restaurants with outdoor seating. Enjoy a beer in the sun or shade and the music which typically plays from local buskers ???????? - Glenn Thorsen
I love Strøget! It's expensive to shop but i love just walking down Strøget. Get some Brændte mandler (burnt almonds with sugar) while you're there and walk all the way down to Nyhavn :) - Kelly Jensen
Beautiful place, and with lots of restaurants! Great Goulash! - Isabela Schlup
