I don't believe there's a bad option on the menu. My faves: the state fair (drink), whipped goat cheese (appetizer ), asparagus and sour cream mashed potatoes (sides), scotch ice cream (dessert ) YUM!

Fried chicken is moist and delicious. Salads are really good. I wasn't a fan of the ham gravy but the hot sauce and bbq sauce were good. Definitely make a reservation .

Got the fried chicken and had a side of cheese grits--both amazing! Now for pie ! The banana cream pie was excellent but my Mom's and my sister's is still better! Daniel, our server was superb.

In a word..... everything!!! Best insane variety of drinks, best fried chicken with ham gravy , rainbow trout ,burnt ends ,goat cheese appetizer , tar tar w toast...and last but not least their pies !!!!!

A cozy restaurant tucked in the corner of Mission Farms . They serve "comfort food " which is a sophisticated twist on cuisine that all Midwesterners have grown up with. Definitely a place worth trying!

Great beer and cocktail selection , not to mention a small collection of Pappy Van Winkle . Fantastic shrimp and grits (brilliant addition of smoked pork ), delicious chicken and dumplings .

Our server, Daniel, was one if the best we've ever had at any restaurant . Cottage Fries with Parmesan cheese were scrumptious, as was my Strawberry Rhubarb Pie . Oh my! The crust is amazing.

Try the state fair cocktail , even if you don't love bourbon . Creamy Goat cheese toast , garden salad to be dreamt of and melt in your mouth trout . Best food in joco

Oh my, the whipped goat cheese is divine. As is the lemon meringue pie . Fried chicken is fine but the lunch portion is quite small.

Wow. Delicious! The in-house smoked salmon is wonderful. The Rye breakfast is sensational. And the coolpop burger is worth the wait. Scrumptious!

The fried chicken and gravy is FANTASTIC! Also try a side of the mashed potatoes . Be sure to make a reservation , it fills up quickly.

The prime rib was marvelous. Do make sure to order the Brussels sprouts . They're sautéed with some lemon juice . Yum.

Hot buttered shrimp and hangar steak were the best around our table. Both are incredible.

You can order entire pies to go. Seriously. And they are completely reasonable. Just give them 24-hours notice.

I'm a fan of Bloody Mary's didn't care so much for theirs though, it was just too thick... however the Shrimp & Grits with pulled pork OMG... amazing... the bacon Mac&Chz not as good as I expected

Skip the burnt ends and pulled pork . These items are too familiar and offer the diner nothing new or fresh--no risks being taken. Look instead for a palate that let's the artist splash you with favor.

Try the house hot sauce on the table. Lotta flavors going on!

The Roasted Cauliflower Soup is amazing. Also, try the Pimm's Punch out on the Patio !
