If you buy your zoo lights admission online or at Fred Meyer you'll save some $. 8.50 at the door 7.25 online or at FM. Hours are 5-9 pm. Really cute displays, plus some animals and camel rides :)

Always love going to Point Defiance Zoo , can’t go wrong. Prices are reasonable, you can bring in your own snacks and drinks, so you don’t have to get them in the park . Must go
What a neat place! Small aquarium and zoo , but has enough variety to enjoy. Great ground and great greens. Bring your own food!
This place is amazing. I absolutely loved every single thing about it. There's only one thing that I have yet to do there: shark diving!

This is quite a nice zoo and the aquarium is a nice addition compared to the D.C. National Zoo . Still, I wish they had more primates...
Make sure you find your way to the nature reef discovery there's anmazing fish and sharks. I have had a membership here for years and never got to see this part of the aquirum

For the record... They do not charge more for people that live out of the area. They discount Pierce County residents and military . Regardless... The animals seem happier here for some reason. :)

Visit the walruses . E.T. is a 3000 lb male that is super smart and knows close to 100 commands including shaking his head yes or no, speaking, and rolling over. WAY cool!
Zoolights was great! Sizable displays, decent price. Too bad no carolers wandering.
