Wonderful nature walk. Didn't see any manatees (off season). Butterfly garden is beautiful. Peaceful and informative.
We didn't see any wildlife today because it was so hot. Manatees are only really around during the winter months. Still lots of fun trails and info to discover here.
There was about 12 manatees in the river (Nov 30) but you only see a snout and sometimes a tail. Try some of the natural springs in central Florida of you want a clear shot of this animal.
Outstanding place to watch manatees . You won’t be disappointed
Better on chilly days ! They all come in to escape the cold currents.
Stop here if you can a lot of manatees sighted! $5 parking fee
Didn't see any manatees during my trip to Sanibel, but then was informed that they were all here because of the cold! What wonderful news! So many manatees here!
Take the time to rent kayaks or canoes for a fun nature trip. We saw alligators , birds, cows, turtles , fish and horses.
Bring a snack bag with for the kids. Nice little picnic area at the end of the path.
Of course no guarantee to see manatees , but parking is cheap .
Come here on chilly days and you'll get to see lots of manatees . They're so cute ! :)
Manatees are AWESOME! The park itself is very well kept and laid out.
Nice place to kayak ! Rent or launch your own.
Lots to learn about the indigenous Florida plants and animals.
Rent kayaks to get up close and personal with the manatees !

Manatees in January! Saw them 1/10/16!
Very fun (and not scary) to canoe with the manatees .
Manatees were present, but hard to see as they only stick their snouts and backs a little bit out of the water.
