This place is fabulous, went midday during the week. It would only be better if they had a cafe . I do like all of the Iowa based products in their gift shop , and they have many educational items too.
Don't forget to stroll thru the Gardeners Show House , down a little hall on southwest corner of building for ideas for your own garden
I remember coming here in the early '90s and feeding the fish . Beautiful gardens and a convenient winter retreat.
Wonderful food! The flavors were bursting and the food was light. Great ambiance for a nice lunch .
Amazing! Check out the water garden and waterfall out back. Give yourself a couple hours to look at everything! So peaceful .
