Hot Springs of Nea Kameni

Due to Sulfur and Carbon Dioxide emissions, the water next to the Volcano is yellowish, hot and healthy for the skin!

We enjoyed it, but the springs aren’t hot and the water will leave you with brown stuff on your body. It will make your white towels dirty !

Swim if you want to feel the heat. And don’t bring you best swimming suit or towel except if you want to paint them in orange

Not Hot! The locals can't understand why they're called hot springs . It's slightly warmer than the surrounding ocean, but the it's minerals/sulphur from the volcano resulting in the orangey colour.

Wear a dark swimsuit because whites may get stained yellow
