Sample platter can feed an army. Ribs are but dry, but sauces are amazing. The brisket is outstanding. The chili is best I've ever had. Just eat here. From staff to food, it's stellar.
One needs to start off with the Bacon & Brew... Beer w bacon candy .artsy , vintage layout. Hospitality is warm and inviting.super friendly environment.Ribs are superb, serve with the sauces on the side
Incredible meat! We were three and we shared all the plates (I highly recommend that). If you're hungry, can't wait an hour for a table and want a reasonable price for good food... this is your place.
The live music was awesome. We stopped in there on a random Friday night and the music was amazing. Brisket chili Mac was perfect drunk food. Beautiful atmosphere for lovers.
Hot damn...this place is amazing! We play here so what more do you need? I'll tell you what..this!...they serve PBR with a huge-ass strip of bacon on top. KA-BOOOOM!!!! Country music . BBQ . Dun.
The ribs can be a bit dry, but the smoky pulled pork makes up for it, clocking in as one of the best around. Tender, juicy chicken comes in second, with puckery slaw and meaty beans solid runners-up. Read more
The perfect venue for music lovers with an appetite, Honky Tonk BBQ pairs live roots music with ribs , fried green tomatoes , and sweet potato pie . Read more
The hot links are smokier, with a good kick. They could be crispier, but the sauce sauce has a good tang and each element is solid.
We love any place that, in addition to fall-off-the-bone meats and a killer live music lineup, serves a dish called the Girlfriend Salad .
Been coming here since they opened and I absolutely LOVE it! Everything is delicious and the ambiance is great!
Brisket . And the very cool young adults that come dressed up like the 1920's on Sunday nights to dance to the great live music .
The pulled pork was among the most tender I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were perfect, but most of the corn bread stuck to the paper.
Cool place with a unique country theme. Wacky garb on the walls, low lighting , and some toe tapping folk music set the mood. Pair that with some craft brews , great food, and friendsly staff - STELLAR
From St. Louis spares to baby backs to the big beef short ribs , they're serving up real-deal slow cooked barbecue with three signature sauces. Read more
Willie Wagner set up shop in Pilsen to serve his “Memphis-style,” dry-rubbed barbecue . The smoky pulled pork clocks in as one of the best around. Tender, juicy chicken comes in second. Read more
Great food, reasonable prices! Excellent atmosphere too. Try the pulled pork platter and candied yams .
Food was not good. I had the sampler and tried the ribs , pulled pork , brisket , sausages , and cornbread . All of it was subpar. Many better BBQ places to check out in Chicago.
The pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches are great. Don't forget to order some cornbread !
When was the last good rock espanol band u heard...it's becoming mstream Killers + Santana...good diversity in chi, if sought. HiLe reco Pilsen for you and the kids...school isn't covering us well .
The BBQ is great. Brisket is very solid and ribs are superb. But try the BLT: it's not what you expect and is superb. Also, ask for the mayor. He's usually about.
Quality, well-priced BBQ (party of 4, under $60). I had the single slab of st louis ribs , two links, corn bread muffin and shared chili Mac . Nice people, good service .
Vegetarian ? Fried green tomatoes , goat cheese salad , macaroni & cheese , and the green blt (minus the bacon ) are all great!
The live music and the decore, a true callback to the jazz age.
Wether you're waiting for take out or dining in.... you have to get a beer with bacon candy ! Euphoric!
Try the Q Sliders , you get to sample all the meets at a great price!
If your party is two or more, get the sampler platter . And while you are at it throw in the fried green tomatoes . One more, the mustard , garlic sauce is the best thing you've had on anything
Order the Fried Green BLT 's. Get them with the goat cheese rounds. You will be happy.
Jered Brown is the bomb. He is the pastry chef there. Make sure you grab some dessert !!!!
Get the beer with candied bacon ! Such a great combo at such a great price!
If your a whiskey aficionado do try the Barrel Aged Manhattan....thank me later
great spot for dinner and cocktails pre-thalia hall.
Some of the finest BBQ in the city - great ribs , tips, hot links . The brisket is the strongest offering - be sure to ask for extra mustard sauce .
Pulled pork with 3 different sauce choices is divine.
Ribs , baked beans , pretty much everything!
Candy bacon , but bacon anything is delicious.
Platter is ample portions for two, though the brisket was a bit burnt.
Best BBQ in Chicago! Love the people and such a cool vibe
The mustard - garlic BBQ sauce is to die for!

skip the brisket and go straight for the pork . amaaazing.
Baby Back ribs are excellent! Great sauces. Don't think it's BYOB as mentioned by someone, they have a full bar .
Very affordable ! Chili mac is excellent and so is their pulled pork ! Live music makes it a lot of fun!
Have the Texas Chili + a Filbert's soda . 3=)}
Food is sooo good. Definitely try the Mac and cheese as a side. good service . Everyone was very friendly . Will def be back
BYOB BBQ spot. Decent BBQ - nothing like Texas BBQ though. Everyone was super friendly and they have live music ! Rib tips !
Fun atmosphere with great music .
The oversized ciabatta bread for the sandwiches is a horrible idea, it soaks up all the BBQ sauce . Overall, nothing blew me away. Chicago Q is BBQ king in Chicago IMO.
Fast service & good atmosphere but wasn't overly impressed by the beef which was fatty. I like a spicier sauce than what they have here so not my favorite BBQ .
Had the baby back ribs and the St Louis rub both were terrible. Gale street inn or kingston mines best ribs in Chicago.
Top 3 Mac and Cheese in the City. Combo sandwich with Brisket and Burnt Ends is my fav. - Ryan Briones
get the mac and cheese, and the ribs and the pulled pork and te texas sausage. - Keystone 80435
Sound is solid and congestion is not an issue. Great new Chicago venue with excellent dinner and drink options w/ Dusek's and Punch House right there as well. - T Callahan
