Sooooi much better than the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum ! I so wish this organization would improve the Graveyard Museum ; it could be amazing!
Love Beaufort & this small museum is one of the reasons! Check out the seashell collection room and the ship building warehouse . Have kids... check out the gift shop , too!
A must see--easy to combine with a walk through town . Great exhibits for young and old alike.
Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge exhibit opened here in June 2011. Sail through the museum 's collection of lore and artifacts raised from the Beaufort Inlet, where the ship ran aground in 1718.
was fun, we were able to park and check out the area and the museum ... would recommend for all to see....
This is a great, free museum . Ask the person at the welcome desk about a treasure hunt/map for kids.
The museum is free but drop some money in the box to support all the good work they're doing to preserve history.
The Blackbeard exhibit is a must see.
