Very, very good bagels . Usually no line (unlike ess-a bagel ), but still the same quality. Open today on Christmas too!
Toasted everything with scallion cream cheese or butter ???????? or buy the chocolate babka .
Lox is extremely fresh. A bagel with lox & a few toppings is about $10.50, but they take credit card for purchases over $10.
Get a bagel with cream cheese , smoked salmon , tomato and onion . Don't forget to wash it down with an iced coffee .
Try the lite scallion . Best Bagels in Midtown.
Migrating excessively out of your way on a Sunday morning for a Tal's bagel is well worth it.
Great for a quick toasted bagel w/ eggs and toppings. Not my favorite bagel on its own. MR: 7.4
Delicious! A million different cream cheese flavours and space to sit down.
They don't have a grill. I don't know about you, but I like bacon in the morning. Otherwise, solid bagels and great hazelnut ice coffee .
They have so many cream cheese flavors!
Bagels are not as good as essa but definitely worth going if you don't want to wait in that line
The hot pastrami special is so so so good.
They toasted my bagel when I didn't ask for it. Fresh bagels don't need toasting.
Their cream cheese IS pasteurized. The behind the counter told me *it's just Philadelphia Cream Cheese* :0/
Amazing lox on the bagel !
They take credit now. Great bagels ! Lox is delicious and fresh.
Go to Ess-a-Bagel on 3rd Ave & 51st instead. TAL bagels are bready & meh. And when I asked for lots of cream cheese (like at Murray's & Ess-a-Bagel), they skimped, then charged 1.75 extra for more!
Love the tofu scallion spread! Cash only .
Go with the yogurt chocolate chocolate chip muffin . Absolutely amazing!
Bagels are ok; it feels a bit dry. They don’t have a griddle so if you want scrambled eggs or hot meats then you’re out of luck.
Rainbow cookies plus hot cocoa is a good combo.
It's expensive ...but they have good stuff!
Great bagels ....always.
Variety. Tasty.
Beware of the $10 minimum. The manager won't budge on it.
The best bagels in the hood! Try the different flavors of tofu on a bagel
Fantastic lox
Skip Ess-a-Bagel lines and come here.
Mezuzah on the door; sells shrimp . No bacon . Very confusing.
Ehhhh, no egg sandwiches , small bagels . We left; found ess-a-bagel.
They were the only ones open during Rashashona, not sure if its points or not, but the bagels were damn good Read more
Great bagels !
No bacon or eggs here
Convenient location
Cash only policy is a huge disappointment!
Best bagels in NYC!
Go to Hot Jumbo Bagels on 56th and 2nd much much better
Bagels aren't what they used to be
The place with the hot jumbo bagles is totally overpriced. Stick to tal
Cash only . A big W. T. F.
Good fresh bagels here. With a nice dollop of scallion cream cheese - YUMM!! - Tony Comerford
Great addition to Midtown East- small location, great hot bar. Definitely gets the job done! - Matthew Coleman
Wonderful museum and art-collection, nicely presented! We had a little drink afterwards in their very cosy cafetaria. We were served super-friendly!!! - Linda De Wolf
