The Roasted Barley Milk Tea is great! Tea Era is the best PMT place on Castro Street bc it is not as sweet as the other places and has really tasty pearls . You can also ask for Half Sugar.

Hands-down the best bubble tea in the Bay Area and probably beyond. Highly recommend roasted barley and taro milk teas with tapioca !

Nice bubble tea ! Has a stronger tea flavor . Lots of selections and not too expensive . House specialties are the roasted black milk tea and the oolong milk tea . You can also adjust sweetness level!

Best thing in mountain view! Roasted barley milk tea 50% sugar is best for a robust tea flavor and not too sweet. Earl grey milk tea and Oolong milk tea also great. Cash only !

Excellent tea and their tapioca is a little sweet which I like. I'm partial to the jasmine milk . Ambience leaves something to be desired and there's very limited seating . Also cash only !

This milk tea shop has the best tapioca ! They are always cooked al dente , and very well . The only other tea shop that can rival is ten ren in Cupertino and SF. Unfortunately this is cash only .

Tea is brewed resulting in a clean , deep flavor. Their boba is exceptional; soft-medium chew and never mushy or hard in the center. Faves: black MT, grapefruit green tea , roasted barley & Oolong MT

The Roasted Barley Milk tea sounds nasty but it's one of the best things on the menu. I recommend getting it half-sweet. Tastes a little like graham crackers .

Cash only , but the tapioca pearls are always perfectly al dente . The tea is great here too. Guava tea , roasted oolong and barely milk teas are my favorite.

The honey chrysanthemum tea is sweet even at half sweet, but it’s still very very good.

This place has the best boba along Castro but it is the dustiest place I have ever been to! I'm talking layers of dust on every non-food-preparation surface, including walls

If you're not feeling like caffeine, their smoothies are a great option as well . Lychee is nice and sweet, while Plum is the typical sour plum flavor you would expect.

Best milk tea place around, no food and limited seating however. Barley Milk Tea , Guava Milk Tea , Honeydew Milk Tea & Black Sugar Milk Tea 's are my favorite.

Out of nearby Cafe Verde and Tapioca Express and even San Mateo's Tpumps and Cupertino's Fantasia, Tea Era is my favorite. They get the boba just right. Lightly sweet.

They have a plethora of flavors in both hot and cold teas , but so far the roasted barley with milk is my favorite one.

Option 1: Lychee green tea with aloe vera and pearls , half sweetened. Option 2: Honey lemon green tea with aloe vera , pearls , and lychee fruit bits.

Get the genmai milk tea with 1/3 sugar, no pearls , regular ice. If genmai isn't available (which happens fairly often), get the grapefruit green tea with 1/3 sugar, no pearls , regular ice.

Open till 2345. Was super happy when got a jasmine milk tea blended with green tea jelly and tapiyoca at 2230 after a play 'The Light in The Piazza'. I was hungry and the good sugary tea tamed me
