Sushi heaven. Intimate setting too, with fellow foodies. Be sure to check out all menus as it were. There was a standard; chalkboard style; and off piste smaller card with lovely offerings.
This mom & pop sushi shop serves surprisingly high-quality fish at very reasonable prices. Though with one chef it can be slow, for great cheap sushi it's worth it. Read more on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
One of the best sushi places I've ever tried. No mayo on the rolls, authentic flavors, small but well-thought-out menu. Only downside: rolls take 45 mins to come out...on a not-crowded night.
This is my favorite low-key sushi place in the city . Super nice owners, honest and hard working, with simple, good quality fish . Sea fairy roll is great.
Sushi one of the best. Very fresh fish . Hidden gem . Mango & Salmon roll , exquisite!
Came here on a Sunday night and served by a single waitress and single chef . Felt like we were in the personal kitchen of a Japanese home, in a quaint, charming kind of way.
Oyyy my belly hurts after tasting all the food here. Absolutely beautiful. The guy behind the counter is a sushi magician.
The "assorted sushi " is the combo tray thing, it's good. They use a lot of wasabi on the sushi so brace yourself.
Even though there was a little bit of a wait, it was worth it - everything we ordered was delicious.
Good simple sushi although portions are small than what you get in the South Bay . I'd explore other places
great family run restaurant and cold sake filled to the brim! the food is delicious and service is fabulous. great prices and wonderful dining experience.
Cheap , high quality sushi ! Be prepared to wait a bit, but it will be worth it.
Great assorted shushi. Worth the wait for sure! Try this place.
Order at least one or two nirgri to experience the freshness of the sashimi ! (vs. just going with rolls)
Such a hidden gem ! They offer brown rice and their fish is so fresh!
The fish is the freshest I've ever had in SF.
The sashimi was the freshest I've had in the city , definitely will return.
Great sushi place, very tiny and a one man operation . Recommended!
Come during lunch instead of dinner . It's a lot less packed and you won't have to wait as long for your sushi .
The dragon and caterpillar rolls are very good.
Great sushis . The fish was fresh and tasty!
Order the unagi at the end of your meal. Do it or regret it the rest of your life.
Try one of the mango specials and the scallop is fantastic.
Sashimi was amazing and the guy who makes it is awesome.
Get the dynamite roll , and the sashimi
The Unagi nigiri is delicious
Pretty decent sushi , with really great prices. The crab they use in their rolls is just okay.
Best Sushi I've had in San Francisco
They're not on the menu , but you can order hand rolls if that's your thing.
Had lots of nigiri . The fish is precut, left out to dry. The rice is unseasoned.
My favorite roll is the snow leopard ... It's to die for
One man operation . And that man is skilled.
Spicy tuna with mango
Eel nigiri
The unagi is still warm when it's placed on your plate.
Caterpillar roll is delicious
Just about average... Actually, the taste is totaly in line with the price. Cheapish and average.
The spicy tuna here is amazing. Try the dynamite roll it doesn't dissapoint!
Very good.
Get the Tako Maki ! so amazing
usually busy on weekend nights.
They use real crab instead of imitation :)
Brown rice available
get a large hot sake while you wait for your food
they have brown rice too
Snow Leopard Roll is dericious.
