Even though today's young generation assimilated in Hungary, Hungarian people have Turan origin than I can easily describe as cousins of Turkish people. In square, you can see Turkish commanders.
Heroes’ Square is an open plaza where a 40 m high column of Archangel Gabriel holding St. Stephen’s Crown leaves visitors in awe. It’s one of the top emblematic and photographed sights of Budapest.
Beatiful monument and a huge square perfect for walk and taking photos.
Great and historic site to visit with a beautiful lake and park . Make the trip as the views are amazing ????????
Cool place - near Budapest Zoo , Hungarian Museum of Fine Arts ,Castle , park ...etc
Noted for its iconic statue complex featuring the Seven Chieftains of the Magyars and other important Hungarian national leaders.
Worth a trip there . Really nice park behind and off course close to the Széchenyi Baths
Archangel Gabriel is in the central column and the statues around it represents the Magyar tribal leaders that funded Hungary.
Huge square with a lot of history.Begin your journey in Budapest from here. Not only this square but spent 1 day for this area
Please don't climb on the statues and sculpture ! This is part of our culture, so please honor it! (the zoo , with monkies and playground is nearly, if you want climb!!)
From here you will get to Széchenyi baths , Andrássy avenue and Vajdahunyad castle . So it is a must if you are visiting Budapest sights.

A standard must stop for tourism
One of the most beatiful squares in Budapest! Don't forget to visit the city park or swim in baths !
If it is crowded , maybe you should come during the week in the morning. There are several places where you do not want to step with your skates , specially stairs, take care.
Just like every classic tourist photo you've seen of it, but in real life and worth it since the square is quite large.
Large-scale performance of great Hungarian victories. Great view in every time and every weather!
Very big square and it's quite hot to visit during early afternoon as the sun is very strong with no shading. Not much to do.
Beaytiful square - great photo opportunities of the statues . Best of all it's never packed full of tourists all the time
There is a river behind the square is very beautiful and where activities such as boating ????????
A must see. Find time to explore the the area-garden, castles , museum & the bath.
When u come out of d metro and want to cross from d right , be careful to stay out of a bicycle only crossing. The cyclists get very annoyed when we stand there
If you are going to Széchenyi baths , Vajdahunyad castle , szépművészeti museum - you are going to be very close to this place. Enjoy!
This is Not Just a square. A great park behind, museums around and a big Avenue starts from that area.
Like the vibes of this square. Magnifique. Statues erected in honor of the leaders of the 7 founding tribes of Hungary
The architecture and layout of this square are visually more than you can soak in on just one visit.
Loved it. Right next to a little playground and pond perfect for walking and families.

Very nice to chill with friende and perhaps a drink on sunny days around 4 or 5 pm - Jonne
It has an unexplainable energy that makes a pleasant place, even though it's dominated by worn out commie Scala shopping center. Would use more pedestrian and less car surfaces. - Miloš Lazić
Lively place, many cafés, loads of cars. In general nice place. - Matýsek Dalibor
Sit by the lake with a drink and enjoy the sizzling spring-summer atmosphere :) - Nikoletta Hendrik
