It is a must to visit this beautiful cafè ! Almost 100 years old interior. The cakes are sooo yummy. Don’t miss if you’re in Lisboa.
Superb setting gives the guest a taste of early 20th century Lisbon. The traditional urban Lisbon inhabitants of all age groups loyal to the place are positive. Try Pao de Deus and bolo de arroz .
Established 1922. Most famous teahouse in Lisbon. In older days, the specialty was licungo, the famed black tea of Mozambique. Snacks include codfish balls and toasted ham & cheese sandwiches
Service is super good! Quality of food is excellent and my favourite was the cod croquette and the chicken pie along with portoghese coffe
An almost historic cafe in Lisbon. Mostly frequented by locals for breakfast and afternoon tea . Wonderful cakes and French patisseries .
Tasty coffee and pastries with mini versions of many so you can sample several! The old charming decor and stained glass windows made it a great place to start our day as well .
Very authentic Portuguese spot! Go for breakfast and don't miss their pastries - especially their nata .
The opposite of trendy and hip . Very nice staff and good, inexpensive sweets and food. Tourists as well as locals.
WHY THERE: pastry , verrry stylish authentic interior . COFFEE : casual . DESSERTS: tasty selection for a lifetime. LOCATION: downtown area. PRICES: low (reasonable)
Delicious coffe and pastry , old fashion decor❤️, lovely english speaking stuff. A must place to visit????
Busy, authentic bakery that reassuringly a lot of locals visit. Not all waiters speak English, but are all accommodating and helpful. No need to queue for a table, just grab one you want.
Very good coffee and pastries . There are also different choices lf sandweches. Very kind staff and prises are surpisingly average. Storical location
The best pastery in town . best service and quality. Excellent location
Beautiful Old-World French inspired café decor and atmosphere, great place to see and be seen. Some of the best merendas (ham & cheese pastries ) ever. Pricey but worth it!
Huge choice is pastries and great coffee . Added to that some amazing old school ambience. What more can one ask for.
One of my favourite spots in Lisbon. Old school is indeed cool. Don't leave without trying a pastry .
Had a truly delicious, perfectly cooked Dorada at lunch . PERFECT. Amazing pastry selection too
A bit on the pricy side, but can't really complain with all those great sweets and pastries hanging around... Recommended for anyone with a sweet-tooth.
Pastry worth to try, cheap and testy (cakes from 1.20!) while cappuccino and juice quiet a high price (2.80 & 3 euro)
Absolutely fantastic place! Must visit pastelaria in Lisbon. Fantastic food and incredible pastries !
One of the best.....really fancy , seems like a museum ,quality pastry in a speechless location ???? ???? ???? ???? ☕️
One of the last old authentic pastelarias of Lisbon. Good service and dozens of sweet viennoiseries...
Harkens back to the good all days. Great esplanada to sit and enjoy a cafe whilst people watching .
Another one of those places where it feels like you go inside and travel back in time. Awesome.
If you are looking for a great pastry , try here! It is really really good!
Ask for the prego do lombo or the croquetes if you want something salty. If you're craving for sweets, the Lingua de Veado is the best in Lisbon!!
My favorite place to grab breakfast , everything is amazing and make sure to get some cakes to go when you leave.
Pastas de natas , pastry , cappuccino , orange juice , cake and again pastry
Worth to try their Portuguese pastries & fresh squeezed juices
Even if you try nothing worth to walk into this time warp. I prefer inside for the atmosphere than outside.
Great food and nice environment.
Authentic interior and very tasty pastry ! Recommended.
Super fresh pastry and nice environment in the center of Lisbon
So many fantastic sweet treats , nice golden 20s atmosphere.
such a nice place to have some coffee and pastries .
Great traditional Portuguese pastry !
relatively cheap , nice breakfast stuff.
Authentic Portuguese pastries . A must visit.
So worth a visit authentic and delicious
Excellent pastries , Tea , everything.
Old timey bakery . Amount of great options can overwhelm.
Great traditional pastry !
Authentic with fantastic pastries
Very good pastries in a fantastic setting
Cakes , coffee , service. An institution.
I think they are the best in town
Best nata in Lisbon.
Probably the best hot chocolate I've ever had.
The best Pasteis de Nata !
I don’t get the ooh-aah. The building in Art Deco is nice and reminiscent of some Paris bistrots. The food is bland. Poor quality of service. Prices too high for what you get
Worth the hype. The line moves fast so just grab some to go and walk to the park. - Paul Brenner
Probably one of the best cream cakes in Lisbon (pastel de nata), or so they say! First time, loved it! - Carlos Sequeira
Great shopping area! You can buy everything here: food, clothes, kitchenware, etc. Not cheap though... subway stops underneath the mall - Travel Chick
Very cheap Delifrance's breakfast menu, and wonderful Gourmet's snaks and sandwiches! - Danila Dadà
The center of the business district! One of the best areas in Lisbon! - Renato G.
