The nachos are a must try at this place. The best I've had in town . Will be returning for drinks and appetizers (and happy hour where both are well priced!)
The beer is awesome, particularly enjoyed the Maypop and the happy hour pricing is great.

I absolutely love this place! I can't wait for covid to be over so I can go back and hang here again. The Kolsch is fantastic and so is the Bear Blend ! Their happy hour is the best.
Great food, drink, and people. Try the hot chicken sliders (add cole slaw ), street tacos (fish ), salmon salad , and Firebelly IPA (well , maybe not all at once!)! :) Highly recommend Balter Beerworks!
You absolutely have to try the skillet chocolate chip cookie that is made to order and topped with local Cruze Dairy vanilla bean ice cream ! OMG!!!
This place is amazing..great food and even greater beer . Glad Knoxville has a place like Asheville for Beer , food and fun.
In house brewed beer is great AND if it is on tap they will can it on the spot for you to take home.

We went for brunch on a Sunday morning. It was very loud inside. The food was good but overpriced. We had fish tacos and fried shrimp . $1 mimosas are good but beer is $5 a pint which is way too much.
I love the surroundings in the old abandoned service station.
