The Dodo Restaurant

Food was great! French dip w/ Gorgonzola ! Great hipster vibe but no hipster service. Wish we lived in SLC so we could eat here more. Though I know we will make Dodo specific trips going forward.

The house salad dressing , Parmesan-something with slivered almonds in it. It's to die for! I go back often and buy it by the pint to take home with me. Delicious and addicting!

I enjoyed the soups . Everything else I've tried has been edible ie. salad , ravioli sandwiches . I have never tried the pie which I hear is the reason for coming here so I'll have to get on that.

Good ambience and a great place for family/friend chit-chat (Can get crowded though). Tried Lundigras(chocolate+almonds) once and kinda liked it.

There is nothing like the Dodo house salad dressing . You can buy it by the pint and take it home for around $7.00. Absolutely delisch!!!

The pancake special is a great value . My favorite is the raspberry pancakes . Nice atmosphere, but employee's are cliquish, not especially helpful or attentive. But food is great.

Stroganoff is great. Crab Benedict amazing. Wait is usually around 20 minutes but service and food is good. Can be loud at times

Pastry chef is Mexican. Try his flan . Only flan in Utah that reminds my wife of the flan she grew eating in Mexico.

Love their coconut buttermilk cake . It isn't on the menu often, call ahead to find out.

Not the fastest restaurant but brunch is yummy and the pies are delicious!

The peanut butter cream cheese pie is to die for! Also had the Polenta appy, almost liked the plate after!

My first visit OK. Outside patio nice. Service was very good. The Rubin was just OK. To bland. My wife had the tuna wrap . Again bland. We would come back hoping to find a better meal choice .

Surprisingly very good breakfast . A little pricey but get the dodo eggs are delish.

Dessert was great, waitress was fine- will not go back bc of the awful hosting! We were told 20 minutes for a table outside , at 30 we spoke to a manager-- 60 minutes we were finally seated. INSIDE :(
