They've got all the McMenamins standard beers , many of which are quite good. Food is always consistent if not great. you know what I mean. It is NOT a repurposed church as one reviewer said.
Happy hour is best - try their beers and happy hour menu . I've been a regular since they opened decades ago.
Don't be in a hurry. Order two beers at a time?
The patio is enclosed by trees on the sides and above and is just perfect on a summer day.
Nice! Look for a table by the huge potbelly stove! Cozy and yummy!!
Very good Burgers , nice atmosphere in a former church
"Once a month, on First Thursdays, stop by to try a limited-edition, special release beer . And when the keg is kicked, that's it. When it's gone, it's gone." ~ http://www.mcmenamins.com/johnbarleycorn
Food menu needs a lot of work - nothing looked good or even interesting - but speed, execution and vibes were all good. Weird location
A hidden gem . Don't be in a hurry.
Great service, great food--what more could one ask for?
Always get the specials, they never let down.
Love the vegetarian/vegan menu options.
This is of our favorite locations in the kingdom. Great menu and consistent service.

Hogs Head Salmon Sandwich is my fav here! Yum
Get the Tachos! They're pretty good. As our waiter said, the cheese is so good you could scoop it Poo-Bear style.
The spicy Dijon mustard really is spicy . My son recommends NOT taking a dare and eating a spoonful... >:)
Greyhound (vodka + grapefruit juice )
The place I always had pitchers with friends - our favorite was Hammerhead amber ale Read more
Terminator Stout gets a thumbs up from me!
Go if it's happy hour
Red wine beef stew
Great gyro !
Chocolate shot/lemon
They have Tapatio if you ask!
Cajun tots are awesome!
Nice place on the rare occasion I'm in this area of town .
by 11 pm the waitress were drunk, she could barely stand and had to use my table as a prop. I don't encourage drinking on the job. The beer was good, food was subpar. Not what you would expect from MM
One pint: $4.15. One pitcher (~4 pints): $11.50. You do the math.
Don't go when you're hungry, because the service is painfully slow.
order the tots with the amazing ranch
Repurposed church , with great beer and passable pub fare. I'll go again with eyes wide open!
Food is good but damn its slow. Not a good choice for a quick lunch .
Good God this place sucks.
Love the Shepard's pie...Mac n cheese too spicey! Definitely order the. Cherry bread pudding! Yum! - Kale Beyer
Go to JB O'Briens. Skip the Irish Food and get the enchilada dish. Start with some sliders from their happy hour menu. - Shannon Pedersen
The Fish & Chips is the signature dish and it can also be ordered 'lightly battered' or 'broiled' for those of us looking for a less caloric meal. - Ellen Partal
Excellent variety of Cheeses here. Plus, the only place for great tasting, fair priced frozen foods/meals. - Village Memorial
Cajun tater tots each and every time! - Jackie
