The Beresford Hotel

Nothing is open on Sunday's except for this incredible gay scene. They close the top floor early though so don't expect to have a late night . Amazingly crowded considering all around is a ghost town .

One of the best pubs in Surry Hills. Good value beers during the two hour happy hour . It's full most nights but the beer garden provides ample room for the trendy people who flock here

Sunday Sesh is great, although patio can get packed. Good spot for eye candy and $5 beers from 5-7pm! The upstairs bar for special events is beautiful.

Sunday is just the best time to be here - late afternoon - everyone is here! Magical lanterns in the courtyard with a gorgeous wall of ferns+ivy...the courtyard despite being outdoors is soooooo smoky

It's more of a hotel style faux up market bar . The place is massive so there's always a place for you to sit. There's plenty of better bars in this area to explore first.

The Beresford is in my top 3 hotels in Australia, especially during the early hours.

If the jumped up 'roid heads on the door try & tell you that you must be 50m away from the premises after closing say NO. The rule applies only if you have been refused entry/ejected. Fight the power!
