Originally built in 1652 & converted to a Tavern in 1673. In 1708 the Tavern became the “birthplace of the businessman’s lunch ” as city councilors dined & charged meals to the public treasury.

So sad to say the WH is not what it used to be. Totally new menu. No wings no crispy chix wrap and fries are sub par quality. Not the same place with new chef . End of an era for me.

Don't get the cheddar focaccia melt. It's essentially sweaty, barely melted cheese on non-toasted bread . Really? You can't do better than that?

Look out for the creepy old man in the window

No impressed. loaded with undergrads and drunks. Bouncers do nothing. Fight broke out the last time I was there.

Don't look funny at the bouncers because they will kick you out! Ego maniacs on a low paying job! :)
