What an awesome experience. Self guided walk through, but if you stop and read some of the larger pieces of text on the walls, even the most casual fan will have a great understanding.
You can experience moving birds of Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room with a controller. It is very difficult to make them behave naturally, you can feel the magnificence of the craftsmen.
An awesome lovely place for the Disney fans ,I am crazy about the Disney's,nice place for family visit as well ,that's a huge place. If you want to see the entire Disney you need a whole day.recommended

A must for any and all Walt Disney fans ! So much to see & read. Truly enjoyed it and will be back.
Wonderful museum to read all about Walt Disney. If there was anyone who embraced the latest technology (of the era), it was Walt. Fascinating to read how he was ahead of the curve.
Leave the small children at home, this ain't *that* kind of Disney spot! Focusing entirely on the history of Walt Disney (the person), with lots of reading , I'd recommend for teenagers/adults only.
Allow yourself an extra hour than you planned - everything is so interesting and you won't be able to stop reading. Special Also, Exhibit is in a separate building that nobody will tell you about.
It’s about the man himself so don’t expect everything Disneyland (though there is some near the end). Some kids looked bored. I spent 5 hours here and could have gone back for more!
Great place to visit - has a great layout filled with lots of interesting things. Not a museum about Mickey Mouse but the life of Walt Disney) the person, so not the best place to bring kids.
I liked it! Very well done permanent exhibit on Walt Disney's history and art .

Fantastic place! We spent 4 hours here and haven't even cover everything. We'll be back, it's amazing!!!
Awesome museum about Disney's life, but be aware, it's definitely more geared towards adults than kids...
They allow photography (without flash) in their exhibit ! It's such a wonderful experience. They only include the classics; Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi, lady and the tramp

I had an amazing time here! So much to see and learn here, and incredible tribute to an incredible man.
Fantastically informative. A lot of information. Make sure to have time in your hands if you plan to read each exhibit .
Great exhibition on the life of Walt Disney. Especially his early, pre-Mickey Mouse was mostly new to me.
This place blew me away! I was prepared to skim through but everything was interesting! I ended up staying 5 hrs. The attention to detail Disney puts in its parks is just as prevalent here.
Don't be fooled by the first floor. Once you go up the elevator , the museum never ends! Reserve the WHOLE day if you want to read and see everything!
It may not look like much from the outside but the museum is very nice and enjoyed it a lot.
this place contains a lot of useful information about Walt Disney as a man. not a place for kids. it is definitely interesting to see the beginning of such successful business.
The tour is focus on history, so there's a lot of reading here. It's really interesting though.
Really nice place with extremely nice employees. Tons of information are held within the galleries so take your time as you go through. Don't rush or you might miss something.
I really enjoyed getting to know more about Walt Disney. I especially enjoyed the room on Disneyland.
Great exhibit . Give yourself the whole day to tour the museum and explore the surrounding Presidio.
Lots to see. Take your time. Walt achieved so much in his short time. Get inspired!
Cool place to stop in if you're a fan of Disney in general -- more about Walt and the history of the studio than what a lot of us grew up on in the 80s & 90s.
Mush more for adults, but really cool look into Walt’s life.
You'll need more than 3-4 hours to do the whole museum. SUPER GREAT PLACE - Val Lindenfeld

One of my absolute favorite places in San Fran! Gorgeous views, dog friendly, perfect for a long walk/picnic/run. Always a bit chilly/windy so plan accordingly. Tons of history, architecture, etc. - Lacey Capps
