Based on two visits I would say it’s a nice modern riverside pub . Good location, decent beer , friendly service . The menu covers the pub staples but includes more adventurous, and healthy, options.
Busy most nights. Stiff competition from other local riverside pubs though. Little bit soulless possibly
Plenty of outdoor seating downstairs and up - so a great spot on a sunny day. Service a bit erratic on a busy day if you’re wanting food...
Nice decor, but not actually very many tables and upstairs always seems to be closed. Food is lovely but still expensive . Staff are friendly
Food is better than you’d think. Service is really very warm as well . Good section of drinks
Great location, nice atmosphere, food should be much better for the price.
A bunch of idiots - the owners or the staff ? 7 pm on a bank holiday, they are not serving food in the terrace , so we had to move downstairs. People upstairs still eating?????????♀️
Good food nice atmosphere
It’s becoming expensive to drink here. £7.10 for a pint is expensive wherever you are.
Meh: really nothing special and clearly on the expensive side. It might get better. The four/five super-mini crispy duck croquettes are a bit of a joke.
Ran out of food ????
Didn’t eat here because nothing was available on the menu. So we left.
Pretentious and ridiculously slow service.
Great selection of quality beers in pleasant surroundings. Good food & music. - Michael Toussaint
Just trying the Sunday lunch and it's really big and tasty for seven quid. Nice flavours and not too full. - Martin Richards
Great food and drinks ???? a freehouse pub with great real ale and food with great staff! Great view from upstairs in the patio overlooking the river!! - Kathy May
No table service if you sit outside. No lunch menu at weekends. They had no lagers at all when I last visited and though they feature lots of ciders on the menu, many are not available. - Jeremy Wells
One Over the Ait just by the river (next to Kew Bridge) is a popular boozer with plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is fine… - Jeremy Wells
