Metropolitan Market Tacoma

I love this market . Lots of gourmet items, wonderful cheeses , great bakery , good salad bar . And an interesting selection of kitchen gadgets .

They have a ton of free samples and things that I could not find anywhere else so be sure to ask for what you want, its probably in the back. Also they don't have a smoker so get your own.

Get the chocolate milk from Twin Brook Creamery. All the milk from the creamery comes in glass bottles , so you pay a refundable bottle deposit when you buy it....but it's sooo good.

Large market with many specialty items and many prepared foods. They carry bread from 30 bakeries . Although not the least expensive market to frequent, it is place I enjoy shopping.

Ah, The Cookie . It greets you upon entry. They’re so good... especially fresh and warm.

Fancy dancy grocery store similar to Whole Foods or Zupans with good looking produce and nifty specialty foods

Cheese , seafood , produce and wine are worth the extra cost. And they get to know their local regulars. Love you guys!

I like to go here for the banana pudding and and the fresh guacamole .

First time here... This is a great spot. Their soups are very good.

In the deli , they sell a $10 free range chicken roaster. It is so good...and an excellent price!

If you like Lamb they have a pretty terrific Ground Lamb for burgers , or Pasta I've even used in Meatloaf !!

If you need cheese - Julia is the Queen of Cheese ! If you need Seafood - Mitch Rules the Met Market Sea!!

Always try a new desert or meal they even have duck and rabbit

They are the only store where I found lime marmalade for my coconut lime bread !

Any of their soups are absolutely fantastic. They have a great imported beer & cheese selection too!

Good selection of gluten free products which are stocked with the regular products.

Stay away from their desserts because they know if you walk by you'll grab one ????

Checking in at Metropolitan Market for their Frog Hollow Organic Peaches . I need the best for my Peach Cobbler .
