Coffee and espresso beverages are excellent. The pastries are good. I love the granola . I hold an issue with any business that has a credit card minimum . Additionally there minimum is $10. No amex.
Coffee is good and baristas are nice. But between the covered power outlets and sterile atmosphere, you get the feeling they don't want you to stick around.
This isn't a typical work/study coffee space. It's a real, traditional coffee shop where you meet people at, enjoy a book , or read a paper. Enjoy the time away from your screen!
Any drink here will be worth it. Great staff . If you're looking for more to nosh on, this may not be your place. Small food selection.
They are very passionate about their coffee and it shows in the flavor and presentation. It's my favorite place!
nice place, great coffee and baristas. however, huge negative- none of the electrical sockets work, on purpose. so... i plan on drinking my coffee and staring at my dead laptop instead.
Order the iced coffee ...it's cold-brewed and the current offering is a duo of Ethiopian and Panamanian coffees bursting with berry goodness.
The coffee was good - I would go back for that alone. They use Barrington beans! But as a lot of these other tips say, there are no outlets , no wifi , no comfortable seating .
Great staff and perfect capp with design. No outlets and limited WiFi , no problem! Easy workaround.
I dare you to walk in with a stack of Starbucks cups and try to order a grande bold. The snobby owner will surely refuse service if not kick you out entirely. Do it for kicks!
Total coffee snobs and regular snobs, but they do make an insanely good cup of coffee . 5$ min on debit cards & 10$ min on credit.
Nice minimalistic design and hands down the best americano around!
The cafe ' latte and macchiato are the best in New England. Avoid the hours between 8 and 10:30 am and early pm as it can get very busy... not willing to wait for a handcrafted coffe ? Go to starbucks
$10 min for cards. (this equals an espresso , pour over , muffin , chocolate croissant , and mini chocolate , in case you were wondering. )
Best espresso in Brookline, but be aware they only serve triples.
Quiet , eclectic and reasonably priced. Try the espresso . Wi fi is limited to 30 min, but tip the staff a few bucks and they won't mind if you're on for an hour or so
There's free parking in the rear off of Washington St. A bit small but worth a look to avoid worrying about parking ticket happy Brookline.
Forget Starbucks; this is where you want to get your coffee . Bright neighborhood joint with a good playlist.
Not meant to be your personal office space, which some seem to dislike. If you're not a barista and you think you can do productive work in a coffee shop , you must not have a real job.
Very good coffee from Barrington roasters!
Precisely made coffee in a sleek, modern setting.

Great pastries and excellent coffee !
Best espresso drinks in the Boston area.
Great cafe au lait , free wifi ! (although they ask that you only connect for 30 mins at a time)
Best coffee snob locale in Brookline. My favorite on the east coast.
I came at about 2:30 in the afternoon and ordered a coffee . The barista told me he wasn't making any more drip coffee for the day. I thought this was really weird. He seemed apologetic though.
Coffee looks awesome....but with a minimum $10 on a credit or debit card they're ok with not serving it to you if you have no cash.
#coffee - any kind
Try the guest espresso in your latte !
Favorite iced mochas ! Made with so much love and so pretty!
Awful service. Two trips in two weeks. Both times couldn't get a drink. Once for not meeting the $10 minimum on a cc when I ordered $8. Once ordered an americano and waited 30min w 1 order ahead of me
If you like good espresso , made well from a manual machine, this place is for you. Good jazz , too.
Non-Event organizes monthly concerts here! Read more
Wow, unreal espresso . Must try
They "don't do flavor syrups " here. Prepare for a real caffeine high.
This cafe reminds me of Europe, bad service! The staff are kind but the owner belittles customers. Don't bring work here. The owner told me, "do you need directions to the library ?"
Tastiest Iced Americano I've ever had!
The hot chocolate is amazing!
best coffee around brookline.
Gotta love a place that plays actual vinyl records .
French Press if Kenya Cru is well worth the wait
I have not tasted better coffee in Boston.
Best coffee on this side of the Atlantic. True story..
Also no wifi and no outlets . They do not want campers.
Get a kombucha with your delicious coffee . :)
Order coffee via pourover .
Nothing special,its ok!
Order espresso .
Say hi to Maks.
Cafe Nero is the biggest coffee chain in the UK (bigger than Starbucks). They roast dark. If you prefer locally owned or lighter roast, try Cafe Fixe directly across the street. - George Ralls
I love Temptations and their sweet paninis are amazing...but I wish I knew that they don't have wifi on the weekends. - Shoshana Yisroela
The mushroom and goat cheese tapas is fantastic. - Eyal Zilberman
One of the best fish and chips in the Boston area for sure. Great fries, great beer selection. - Enrico Manalo
The team members in sushi at Whole Foods Market in Brighton are fantastic about preparing rolls to your custom needs. Their brown rice eel and avocado rolls are awesome! - Kristen Kinnetz
