The service outside is excellent! Great fries the halibut is perfect! Not so keen on the mussels . A must for a trip down memory lane when in Seattle ❤️

Ivar's NW Seafood Sautee. First bite impression: cabin in the woods, fire in the fireplace , it's raining ... subtle flavors exquisitely blended with crunchy texture of hazelnuts . Unbelievable.

Ivar’s offers sockeye, chinook, coho salmon prepared a variety of ways and locally grown foods. Seasonal peaches , cherries and berries influenced accompaniments and desserts . Attentive service.

Everything! I had the salmon do, get the sauce on the side. It's good but if you don't like or know about Fennel .

Great clam chowder , probably one of the best in Seattle. A Seattle Icon in it's own right. If you visit Seattle, you should visit one of the many Ivar 's around the area.

Excellent chowder ! And the seafood cannelloni is so worth it! Great service and a lovely spot on the deck make a perfect afternoon.

A must visit when in Seattle. Have the chowder . Nice view when sitting by the water. Parking can get tough. A bit noisy with I-5 just above.

Just fantastic fish quickly made to order. I like the coleslaw so much I always order two. Chowder is also great.

Still our favorite spot to hang out on the deck and watch the sea planes overhead. At the base of I-5 on Lake Union. Warning: You should like alderwood smoked salmon if you go.

Fantastic brunch buffet ! Also a great place to come on a warm summer day and eat out on the water.

Ask the server what's fresh, otherwise the best deals are on the specials menu. Go medium rare if you're really into salmon ... they tend to overcook.

one of my favorite seadfood places. I am very sad that they took away the Salmon Burger . but the oyster shooters never dissapoints. Yummmm

Happy hour is really good, and their salmon dish is very tasty. Mediocre overall IMO and not a standout place.

Crab chowder was amazing. View was stunning and inside looked like a lodge .

Note to self: outdoor seating is great but very noisy and probably dusty from all the cars.

Really great salmon chowder .

Ordered the blt scallop salad to go... $22 and this is what I got! Bacon and scallops were both super overcooked then refrigerated, and plopped on the salad , not even cooked fresh. Disgusting!
