Phenomenal sushi place - friendly sushi chefs ! Sit at the bar to watch them work! We had the volcano roll , the harbor roll, the roll of thunder and the chimichanga rolls!! They were all delicious!

The mussels shooter tasted like the sea, so fresh! The lunch deals are good: I had the California roll , the spicy tuna , the tempura shrimp and avocado , all great...and the sesame chicken was so yummy

Good sushi place with lots of energy, great food and drinks and not stupidly expensive . Looks a bit old fashioned but the food is great

Best sushi in Monterey, hands down. Attentive service too. Try the spicy tuna roll—you won't be disappointed. I'm told the hamachi is also quite good!

The bento box lunch special is fabulous! 2 main items us miso , salad and rice for $10. Love the Pink Lady hand roll .

Loved the big Ryan roll, Mahalo Roll and spicy tuna handroll . Good shrimp tempura , beef short rib and fresh oysters .

Do not bother entering if the place is full. We waited more then 10m to order bento boxes 10m later 2 miso soups and then waited another 20m watching others get servered and then left!

Crystal Fish is good but Harumi is better, you should give it a try.

I really wish they took reservations for parties of 5 or more. We waited for 45 minutes and ended up going somewhere else.
