Excellent sushi restaurant : 10 seats, sets 2500-3500, omakase 4000+. Freshest fish , delicately flavoured nigiri sushi and they take a simple tamago to a whole new level.

Great sushi restaurant . Get the omakase for the freshest sashimi . Try the trio (chopped toro , uni, wrapped in seared toro - oh my!)

Pei

Excellent little sushi bar in the heart of Dong Qu.. Omakase gets you the freshest fish of the day presented in both traditional and modern ways. It's tiny so call ahead!

Jonathan Kan

Omakase dinner starts at 4,500ntd, check will usually come out to 6,000-7,000. Very high quality fish and shellfish , added bonus is they let you BYOB

So good. Enjoyable. Fun. Just pay it and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.

Gatehouse Freemasonry

Entire menu to this date is still largely based on the farmed fish ingredients which is ridiculously rubbish considering its high end style.

Awesome Japanese cuisine with fresh & tasty ingredients!! Limited seats at the venue but worth the try! It's closed on Sunday.

Used to be good, but I think the quality has gone downhill, there are better sushi places in TPE.

Book in advance or show up early as it fills up quickly. Go for one of Chef's choice menus. Pricy but amazing :) Hard to find, a huge cow on the window will be your clue. recommended by NYT. - Ania Kormańska
