Metroparks Rocky River Reservation North

Did you know the Cleveland Metroparks has over 60 miles of trails . The Valley Parkway Trail in the Rocky River Reservation is 13 miles. Get out there Clevelanders and enjoy our parks !

Amazing park in Cleveland metro area with tons of paths for hiking , biking and more. Excellent place to sit and relax or get active.

This is where the all-purpose trail begins. Very close to the boat launching ramps and the Lakewood Dog Park . This part if the trail is an excellent place to walk a dog.

Love coming for walks here with the kids lots of fun activities and burns off some energy and good exercise.

Good spot during steelhead run ( September thru May). Although, I’ve caught steelhead and smallies on the same day in early June. Try a silver and black Rapala CJ-7.

Great single track trail along the River if you get tired of the bridle ...another bridle on other side of the Rocky River is an option hike .

Training for the Marathon? Half-Marathon? This is the place to do it. Just watch your step - chipmunks and squirrels LOVE to dart across your path, providing an extra challenge!

There is a very old man who goes on walks in the late morning/early afternoon. He brings treats for dogs he passes. He is the cutest thing ever.

13mi of smooth paved trail . Plenty of parking throughout and "restrooms ." Great scenic biking course.

You can have horse parties and go for rides at both stables in the metroparks. Rocky River stables was great for english lessons and horse shows when I was growing up.

An exceptional area of the metroparks for everything outdoors; great bike riding , some wooded trails as well . Walking trails , river , cliffs etc.

Awesome biking and walking trails .

Almost run over by a mountain bike on the bridle trail . No bikes allowed there, so very rare and horses you can feel coming.

Great atmosphere and lots of people walking around.
