Lots to do here but super crowded during concerts . Upgraded parking areas are a plus but traffic is still an issue with a single lane leading to the area. So plan on going early and grabbing a drink!
The host committee party will be held here during the 2012 DNC. In 2000, Tommy Lee Jones gave a speech nominating Al Gore, his old college roommate, to be the Party's nominee for President. #DNC2012
Decent venue but DEFINITELY go to a bar before coming. Crap Budweiser cans for $13 and craft beer for $15?! Absolutely ridiculous. Never seen beer prices like this any event I've ever been to. Boo:(

Get a cold drink at Wet Willies, then head to VBGB for beer and a meal.
Eat big al's BBQ and get some homemade lemonade ..look for the big red trailer!!! Here fri night and all day sat!!!!

Went to Uptown Amphitheater . Rainy weather and they delayed the show. Communication was terrible as far as how long show would be delayed, when to come back in, etc.
I love doing business in this area.
