King's Head Theatre Pub

Great pub in Islington - good beer selection - the theatre at the back shows alot of really good lgbt theatre and lots of other things like opera - highly recommend this place!

For nearly 50 years this pub has contained a theatre . Currently it is home to an Olivier award winning opera. Beautiful Victorian decor.

Great atmosphere, with the cosy theatre at the back. The Opera Up Close take on Die Fledermaus is brilliant and deserves more than the Telegraph's two stars.

Reasonably priced beer for the area. Was here to see a show out the back. Intimate venue where you can really feel involved in whatever is being performed . Friendly staff throughout the venue.

Pub that's open late (at least 1 am), great selection of cask-conditioned ales and wines , live music most nights, a small theatre in the back, free wireless, comfy chairs , and superb ambiance.

Great fringe theatre in the heart of Islington. Usually GLBT themed. Quite small so it can get hot inside, dress lightly.

Live music on the weekend. Relaxed atmosphere . A real fireplace makes it extra cozy in a rainy day.

We called up this morning to book enough space for 16 people. When we arrived, we were pointed at a table for two with a shrug. Really poor customer service that put a dampened on a 30th birthday.

Reliable venue to be allowed entry when other places won't let you. Be warned though they draw the line at sleeping at the bar .

The female bouncer who works on Saturday may be the most unhelpful and unfriendly "woman" I have ever encountered. Avoid her at all costs.
