1140 Royal St New Orleans , LA 70116 United States
This historic mansion was home to a couple that was exposed for slave mistreatment when a fire tragically diminished their home; firemen broke through locked doors to save people at the cooks urging.
We didn't go inside but from the outside it is super spooky! A little sad at all the liberties AHS took on Madame LaLaurie but if possible she is more twisted in real life.
Study your history folks - not some over the top p.o.s tv show
You have to stop here to see it and experience the tragedy. So heavy
There aren’t tours or anything. Anticlimactic.
One of the most haunted houses in the U.S. The history here is as gruesome as it gets, too bad it's not open for investigations. Oh and Nicolas Cage used to own it...weird.
Interesting history.
