Great food and service! Really fast, with a classy atmosphere . Will be back :) The valet service they use is sketchy- there are no times posted, so they'll just lock up and strand you without a car

"Heaping plates of tangy , slippery shrimp have drawn legions of locals to this no-frills, family-run spot since 1977. Make a reservation and take a friend (or five), portions are gigantic."

Jeremiah Jones

Everything. Just everything. We got the pan fried dumplings , sechuan beef , and chicken fried rice and was blown away. Paired with an Excellent staff , this place is unexpectedly phenomenal.

Adrian Phillips

Slippery Shrimp and Szechuan Chicken were the two dishes I had. Quite tasty and worth the wait as the portions are quite large. Well priced bottles of wine available also.

Offbeat L.A.

Chinatown restaurant opened in 1977 serving Mandarin & Szechwan style cuisine. Started by a family of 5 brothers. Small, basic, unremarkable dining room.

Tim Curiel

Slippery Shrimp , Kung Pao Chicken , Shredded Beef with Spicy Garlic Sauce , Sweet and Sour Pork , Pan Fried Noodles with Chicken , all good eating, can't go wrong at all.

Daphne Goon

Had the most reviews on google. Apparently celebrities came here too. Had the beef with broccoli and spicy fish fillet with garlic + vege . IMO food were oily and salty, food were in big chunks.

Corey Johnson

Good place, friendly people and nice atmosphere. I had the orange chicken which came with some delicious steamed vegetables but sadly the chicken was a bit mushy.

Karina Aussie

Great string beans and fried rice . I was not a fan of the protein or egg rolls .

Make sure to get slippery shrimp this is the original the one in Pasadena doesn't taste the same. Celebrities come here too! :)

Chalsea Chen

For the price and quality, I will go to next door (Sam Woo), or Phoenix instead. In terms of flavor, it's definitely more American Chinese than authentic Chinese.

Kevin Hamano

The service here was some of the best I've ever experienced at a Chinese restaurant before.

Michael C

Totally packed and a line to get in. Food was ok. Service fast. But seemed like an average Chinese neighborhood restaurant .

Filmester

Forget the slippery shrimp . Get the double cooked hot pork . Sooo good!

Greg Rajkovic

Szechuan Chicken . Definitely opt for the Slippery Shrimp over this. Not bad, but not great. Had a burnt sweet taste .

Shaoxuan Zhang

Slippery Shrimp is just ok. The taste is right, the shrimp is tender but small and flour too much. Their beef fried rice is awesome. Beef is so tender. Just a little salty.

Lyzette Garcia
