Modern take on Indian cuisine and the best Indian food in the area. Reservations are a must and it is not a cheap restaurant ! Start with the crispy spinach dish as an appetizer...you won't regret it
Wow....yea it MIGHT be the best Indian in the US. The fish in banana leaf was amazing, like an Indian miso glaze, and only $12! Got out with 3 apps for $35 and they were all fantastic. So good
One of the toughest reservations in town is a table at one of the best Indian restaurants in the country . They also like to incorporate other ingredients like asparagus and duck into their dishes. Read more
Best Indian food in the US. Out of all the amazing standouts we had, the spinach and lentil dishes were truly memorable. Our waiter Victor made it an experience we would love to repeat soon.
I loved the palak chaat (crispy spinach ) it's just the right amount of spicy and crunchy. I also love the chicken tikka masala , it's perfectly spicy and the sauce is creamy and flavorful
Come here to have a first class dining experience with superb service and exquisitely prepared dishes like Palak Chaat , Green Peas Samosa , Tandoori Lamb Chops and Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani .
Crispy baby spinach salad Beyond delicious what I call Indian to die for 9ra7ah! food, service, decorations in general incredible???? plus if there's a room for dessert their date toffee cake is a must????
The best Indian restaurant in the entire United States ! And trust me I have been to quite a few across the States...this is hands down the best. Everything on the menu is sublime!
Expensive but lovely. The interior design includes carved wood awnings by floor to ceiling windows and soft green leather benches . A raised private dining area is separated by a gleaming brass rail.
On a recent visit, I feasted on a Keralan-style fish curry—utterly delicious. Be sure to order the naan . It’s made to order so it comes to the table piping hot. Read more
The coconut/caramel/jaggery pancakes were pretty, but so underwhelming. The AYCD Bloody Mary with fresh green Kandari/chilis, was delish...and if you can't decide, you can switch btwn Bloodys/Mimosas.
11-Feb: visited with Lauren C. Tried the samosas (slightly spicy !), lamb biryani , and onion & sage naan . Would definitely go back! Loved the Sania (bourbon based) cocktail as well .
Indian food at its absolute best. Even common dishes like chicken tikka masala are elevated to new heights! Great cocktails too!
the cod was good but I don't recommend it since there are many more authentic Indian options here that are so goooooood. the curries and korma ! amaziiiing. best Indian food in DC!
One of the best Indian restaurant in DC! Everything is good here to be honest, but I must say Palak chaat (crispy spinach ) is a must!
Upscale Indian that's amazing. Get the cauliflower if you like spicy . Fish dishes are great too - cod or grouper are best. And the chicken tikka masala is perfect.
High end indian food . Eggplant , smoked lentils and chicken tikka masala ... all good. Deserts are also good such as the coconut panna cotta .
Their chicken tikka masala is very good and arguably the best in town ! It is a little bit spicy and is served with either rice or roti .
Best Indian in DC. Dishes you love with slightly more complex palates and the palak chat really is something that must be tried here. Verdict: the hype is real.
Good food and service, crowded which gives assurance that food is fresh. Food portion is small. Good wine and atmosphere. They have the best dry spinach starter.
The crispy spinach is fantastic. Note that many, if not most of the entrees don't come with rice or bread . I recommend the bread bowl , it comes with both roti and naan .
Palak chaat is among the best foods I have ever had. The rest of their veg tasting menu is very good. Very good service .
Go for the tasting menu with wine pairing . As a starter they offer flash fried baby spinach . It's just amazing!
The palak chaat (crispy spinach ) is the best. The chicken tikka masala is outstanding. You really can't go wrong here.
The crispy spinach appetizer is incredible — a unique taste and texture!
Start with the Bronzino and crispy spinach and follow with the lamb with tomatoes , onions and apricots and the black cod . Life changing!
The sweet potato samosa and the palak chaat for starters ????????
Excellent food. Enjoy the palak chaat & the different curries
The best Indian food I've had. The Adhar Chicken Curry was excellent with the perfect amount of spice!
Got to say - probably the best Indian food I've had in the states ! Amazing! Highly recommend the truffle oil naan .
You MUST have the crispy fried spinach appetizer . It'll change the way you view leafy greens.
Heaven, just heaven. Always thought Toronto had the best Indian food but this kicks the crap out of anything I've had anywhere!!!!
I was really impressed with the Tandori Chicken . And, of course, the crispy spinach is as great as others have said.
Crunchy spinach & kebab as a starter biryani with butter chicken & masala for the main course
It is all great. It's an investment so just let the waiter guide you and sit back and enjoy.
Fried spinach and the curry halibut was amazing. If you want to start with a nice cocktail try the Rasika, delicious.

Simple delicious! You don't wanna miss it. Vegetarian options are great
Chicken tikka masala ????????
Chicken Tikka Masala , Garlic Naan , Lamb Chops , Cucumber Raita are the best.
It is a major sin if you don't ask for the crispy spinach as an entree. The decoration is great!!!
Everything was delicious but the Crispy Spinach is a must get!
Eating outside was great. Food was filling and reasonably priced. If you don't get the palak chaat there is something wrong with you.

Crispy spinach too good!! Good atmosphere and nice staff .
Tried both the lamb and the duck and they are excellent.
