This is probably the best airport food i've had in my life! the torta was so crispy and the veggies tasted very fresh i loved it. They also sell these awesome cookies the one with coconut is delicious
Rick Bayless' Mexican food really is as good as they say. The beefy Pepito Torta was juicy, tender, and truly outstanding. Read about even more awesome airport food on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
Best food in O'Hare. Can't go wrong with a torta , guacamole and chips were average at best. By far the best parts of my meal were the mango lime agua fresca and the super spicy habañero orange sauce .
Maybe the best airport food in America. The chipotle chicken torta was amazing! If you have a long enough layover, it's worth walking to this location for the bar seating .
Tortas is among the best in-airport restaurants in the US. Give yourself at least 10-15 minutes for the food to be prepared.
Guacamole bar was more than enough food but I also got the chipotle chicken sandwich . One of the best airport sandwiches I’ve ever had. Great flavor. Big portions . Price is right for airport food .
Pepitas Torta was great. Always some of the best airport food ever! The service was great. Even though my order got mixed they threw in free guacamole to make up for it! Don't pass this place up!
the only airport food i ever looked forward to eating. you can't go wrong with any of their tortas . if looking to indulge, check out their guac bar . also pro tip! they serve intelligentsia ????
The mango like juice is most have.. The dressed nachos are great.. Liked the mushrooms sandwich .. Definitely must visit when you are at ORD
O'Hare has a great selection of food! Loved being able to get a fresh breakfast smoothie ; huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito were great! staff can be a bit slow or clueless, but food is good!
The Chipotle Chicken Torta alone makes ORD a viable of port of entry for the US like what Kogi used to be in LAX
The Pepito was fantastic.. And the Ale made it even better! I also recommend the Chipotle soup as it has a very mix of ingredients
If you’re in any of the K gates, it’s worth stopping by Frontera. Any of their tortas are good, but if you’re in the mood for something spicy , the Chipotle Chicken is delicious!
So glad the roasted mushroom torta (HOLD the cheese ) was recommended to me. It's terrific! #vegan #ohare
Best quick food in o'hare (maybe any airport ?) The chorizo is probably the best of the tortas . Food takes 10 mins to order. People love the sangria and Bloody Mary's .
Eat here at every opportunity possible. They have breakfast and lunch and it's all fantastic! The breakfast tortas can be ordered breadless, which makes them much lighter.
A bit pricey , but nothing less is expected in an airport . Beyond that delicious vegetarian options and the Mango Lime agua fresca is a must!
Best. Airport . Food. Ever. Use their app to skip the line . I order when my plane hits the gate and it's usually ready when I right when I get there.
Great food. Pibil and Cubana are the best. Be careful with the habanero sauce . Mango lime drink is awesome
Chicken Milanesa was worth it X100. This was the best food I’ve had in an airport but would happily eat it outside of one as well .
Order the cochinita pibil torta or the smoked pork mollete. There’s a sign that explains certain lingo :)
Everyone says it, and it's true: this is the best food at ORD and is not even that pricey ! Tasty food and reasonably quick too.
Order the Pepito : mouthwatering short rib sandwich that just pops.
The torta cochinita is awesome. Beware the habenero sauce, on the scale of 1to 10 for heat it's an 11. But still good, especially if mixed with mild.
Worth every penny. Quality is on par with the downtown outlet. Tortas FTW. Wish it came with extra salsa though.
Pepito . On occasions I’ve skipped breakfast purely to enjoy a pepito sandwich on this airport stop through. If I have to fly through Chicago there are two requirements. TSA Precheck and a Pepito .
This is the only restaurant (not including fast food ) in the vicinity in the airport that serves breakfast until 11A. The other restaurants stop serving breakfast at 10A.
The food was very good, made to order (so it was fresh), and the workers were enjoyably singing to Latino music . Definitely go here
Wowza! Salsa roja with the cochinita is hotttt. They ain't playin. I over sauced my torta assuming it would be weak and I'm on fire. Got the spicy food face sweat happening right now. Feeling good!!!
Be careful of the habanero salsa . It’s good but test a little bit before going all in! My fave torta is the Cubana.
With everything coming from local farms in Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Illinois; you will love what Bayless has done here!
Our favorite airport restaurant in the country . Fresh local food with zip. It takes about 10 minutes, but it's soooo worth it.
Tortas are great - particularly the cubano - but everyone there worships the corn chowder . Good cocktail program.
Pricey but it's the best airport food I've ever eaten. I ordered a Taqueria salad with garlic shrimp and it was ????.
Excellent food - Very Popular… Visit the downtown location at The Willis Tower if you can, otherwise a couple locations at O’Hare
All the tortas take 10 mins. The torta with the short ribs or the pork pibil...but really you can't go wrong with anything. Pour on the tomatillo salsa .
My favourite Chef 's restaurant in Ohare. Love their Tortas , breakfast menu and the fresh juices !
The best thing about post pandemic travel is the egg and bacon torta for breakfast
If you like spicy bloody marys ask to add the chipotle peppers ! Otherwise it's just zing zang (still delicious)
For breakfast I love their yogurt fully dressed or the eggs and chorizo bread less - try the habanero salsa if you're brave!
Hungry? Get a Cochinita sandwich or a bacon and cheese mollete. Not so hungry? Get the corn and poblano chowder . The mango lime agua is also great.
Grab a seat at the bar and you can order your food from the bartender .
Great combination the Taqueria Salad and the Pepito . Delicious both and looks pretty healthy
The best food at ORD . Worth stopping by for a breakfast treat!
They have some pretty damn good margaritas ! I enjoyed the Topolo Margarita .
My salad showed up in less than 10 minutes. My margarita is strong. The people who work here are clearly taken care of and happy. Not your typical miserable airport experience.
The pibil, Milanesa , short rib and Chorizo have been tested and strenuously approved. Short rib may be best, but tough choice.
Get the "pepito " torta (braised beef ) if you're a savory eater like myself! So good. But skip the guac ... Even with toppings bar it was average at best.
Order a Cubana tortas with a Mango-lime agua frescas . The best food at O'Hare and any other airport I've been to.
Great guacamole if you add extra salsa to it. Love the 4sq special. One dollar for a huge burrito. - Leslie Wosnig
Might be among my best airport breakfast experiences. Had a ham, asparagus and goat cheese scramble; delicious! - Joëlle Gryniewicz
Everything is delicious here, but the elote is unmissable. (And I always ask to take the leftover salsa home—it’s just so damn good.) - Vicki R.
