Awesome food!! I had the Roti Paratha , #8 Nasi Bungkus and Nasi Goreng with chicken all super good. Nasi bungkus is a must. Very rich flavors and a lot of food for a good price
Love the ayam kalio (spicy chicken curry ) - I can't remember if I think this is spicy or medium... We'll find out! The mango smoothie is great - just mango and ice for all you lactose intolerants!
Delicious Indonesian food with a great little Asian grocery attached. Order the nasi bungkus for several different types of curry wrapped in a banana leaf .
Service was friendly , patient, and helpful! I had the vegetable dish with chips , which was tasty and unique. The blended Indonesian drink was tasty and different.
Weekend brunch here is not only delicious, but one of the more affordable brunch options in West Los Angeles. Attached to an Indonesian specialty market and cafe .
i’ve never had food poisoning so quickly after eating a meal. oh my. it was delicious though. now it’s in the toilet .
Nasi Bungkus is amazing, tell them #8 they'll know what you're talking about. Try their "smoothies " too I like the sour sup one.
Love the Mei Goreng Vegetarian Noodles ! Vegan prep optional (no egg )
Nasi goreng with corned beef , nasi rames padang, nasi mantep , and the roti paratha are so good!
"You can, though, get nasi bungkus across the street from the old Indo Cafe as was pointed out to me at length when I suggested that Indo Cafe 's was the only version in town !" - Jonathan Gold
The Ketoprak "Salad " is hardly a salad ... But it's a delicious vegetarian/vegan option!
Roti paratha (delish bread ), mie tek tek (street style noodles ), and fried rice are my picks. The ayam kalio (chicken curry ) isnt bad either.
Roti is a must get. Skip the Laksa (not too flavorful). Smoothies are great!!
Mix up that nasi bungkus with their peanut satay sauce . So deng good. The chicken satay is pretty tasty tasty.
Avoid the Pepes Ikan (Steamed Spicy Fish ). The fish was not cleaned and still had scales and all the internal organs including the gills. The milk fish also seemed very old.
I don't know what to do with Simpang Asia! I cook a lot, and this is where I can find most of the ingredients, herbs & spices from my country ! Visit this place n try also their meals.. Yummy!
A taste of the motherland. All-Star meal to share for two: ikan bakar , kangkung, and nasi mantep . You won't regret it.
Really like the Rames meal (#1 I think). Good mix of food
indonesian market and restaurant all in one. one of my fav spot to hangout. great food, great people, great everything! try their "roti bakar" and "pisang bakar"..yumm!!! :)
All good! Amazing traditional indonesian food
Love the ayam kalio (spicy chicken curry ) - I can't remember if I think this is spicy or medium... We'll find out!
Love both sides: the cafe and market . This is where I stock up on nasi goreng paste.
Their flat noodles and their coconut curry is really nice!
Vegetarian rames is sooo good, and I loved the roti paratha .
You can't go wrong with Mie Tek Tek noodles . I also recommend trying the Melon Juice . One of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had.
They have everything that are made of Indonesian food that you want. 2-in-1 together Grocery store/restaurant is nice.
Where I stock up on Indonesian groceries when I'm feeling a bit homesick, buy a box of Teh Kotak jasmine tea , and eat nasi bungkus . They've recently renovated! :)
Better (and cheaper) Indonesian food than Ramayani in Westwood.
The grocery section has a lot of imported goodies. The stroopwafels were a pleasant surprise.
Faves: Nasi Bungkus , Yellow rice , Roti Paratha , Lontong Cap Go Meh (sub rice )
Nasi bungkus (pictured) is tasty but not as good as nasi mantep in my opinion!
Nasi goreng with special topping is very delicious!
their beno special was good. chicken , beef , tofu , egg , all in one!!
roti bread , nasi bungkus , mie tek tek, and melon slush . get those!!
Nasi bungkus was not disappointing, nasi mantep not as spicy as expected and a little dry. Roti prata is not a miss however!
Mie Tek Tek noodles are always good.
Your Foursquare check in gets you a free drink! Try the Fruit Smoothie- the Melon was refreshing & tasty!
Avocado smoothie is the bomb!
Friendly staff , the food was fine.
This is where I get Ginseng Coffee ! Love-Love-Love!
Durian smoothie is awesome!
Cendol & Avocado
Pretty good selection of Indonesian food .
I always get the Sayur Bungkus for a vegetarian option of the Nasi Bungkus .
They dont always honor the loyalty special so be careful who you ask. If they do honor it they limit what you can get. Just a heads up.
Yum yum. Indo in Cali. Go!
Not bad. If you like this place, you might also try Singapore Express on Lincoln in Marina Del Rey as Malay cuisine is very similar to Indonesian.
Vietnamese iced coffee with the super crazy straws.
favorite here is Nasi Bungkus
Best indo restaurant
Bakwan jagung (corn fritter) and sate ayam (chicken satay) are very authentic. I think the chicken satay peanut sauce is better than Uncle Fung Borneo! - Suwardi

Really cute place! Hainan chicken and the fried chicken were really good - Alice Kamenetsky
Wonderful karaoke. Though it can take a very long time for your turn to come around. Bartenders were great and knew us by the end of the night. - Steven H
