My favorite Spanish restaurant here in Shanghai. Start your Tapas with the Charcuterie board, patatas bravas , salmon TNT 2.0 and some Sangria to cleanse your palette :-D The weekend brunch is a steal!
I really was surprised by the fried mussels and enjoyed to cheese and pulled pork croquettes ! The raw egg in a jar was good and fresh juice comes in a cool bottle! Not too pricey / wine list .
This place is amazing. Food was fabulous, service professional and atmosphere very authentic . Especially enjoyed the selecion ahumados, the chipirones and the flan tropical.
Great tapas in the typical 'sexy' atmosphere. Loved the wasabi explosion tuna tapas . And you only need to get one flight of stairs up to get your old fashioned fixed at el ocho. Love it!
Lots of vegetarian options - get the patatas bravas and house marinated olives for sure. And don't skip the bollicao for dessert !!
Bollycaos are very delish! Actually everything on the menu is fantastic! Must try in shanghai!
Nice trendy Spanish restaurant , proper paella (a little toasted at the bottom) and Spanish potato egg tortilla .
Amazing food and really good value for money . Love the atmosphere and the manager Lulu was super nice and helpful.
Love the tapas here !! Those listed in the front page are all worthwhile trying !
Loving the Wednesday tapas / Pintxos ! 10 Rmb each !
Really easy busy atmosphere, great tapas and good value especially for get togethers, good looking crowd!
great tapas venue on the 2nd floor. hit the bar and try their good cocktails . attentive service
One hell of an upgrade from the old place
The staff is friendly , the place is cute , the area is so convenient.
The meat and cheese platter is easily the best in town
Good food and good atmosphere. Not expensive either.
Sweet and creative interior design . Food is good, but lacks consistency in quality. El Willy is starting to spread himself thin.
Good value for money in a very warm atmosphere
Good tapas . Stick to the authentic dishes . Their avant garde tapas are really hit or miss.
Very good and authentic Spanish food restaurant .
Ordered more dishes on random. Every one was fantastic!!
Horrid service. We arrived when the restaurant was empty and still had to get our own menus. Food took an hour and a half to arrive. We informed the waitstaff and were simply told the kitchen was busy
Of course it's great! Never walk out of that place sober!
Salmon explosion is a standout!
amazing!......
Love every dish there!
Venue is nice enough, going for a rustic feel . Service is good. Food is fine. Not bad, not great. You should try commune social.
I'm a big El Willy fan, but Tomatito was pretty awful. Poor execution, under-seasoned and totally forgettable. I appreciate the concept but Willy has missed the mark on this one.
i dont recommend tomatito, the food was pretty awful, several of my friends complained that the paella was overly salty, almost like they dumped soy sauce onto it. staff took the paella off the bill.
Best spanish food in Shanghai !
Food was okay, though very oily. Service was typically Chinese, meaning they served one of our dishes after we'd all already paid the bill and were ready to leave.
Food is good, the place is nice.
Really wanted to like this plc but was disappointed. Except for the Bollycaos , everything else was sub par.
Service with attitude. Forgetful. Pretentious booking policy (6pm or 9:30pm on a non-busy night... Wtf). No bothered to go back.
Just so-so. Not so expensive , but the food's quality also not so high..
Brunch is horrible and overpriced. Tapas are decent however
Very crowded during prime hours, and severely underequipped in the free weights area. Again, no squat rack. - Roald Munoz
Be sure to check the SME center while you visit. They have excellent hot AND cold water. - Veltsu R.
Good service and great food. Weekend brunch is something recommended to try! - Henry Lee
Shielded from the street. Nice courtyard with outdoor seating. Can recommend their tapas. - Jonas Van Assche
Croquetas de Jamón is a must order. Paella portions are manageable for two. Wish we could eat more so that we can order more! - June Neoh
Wonderful little Japanese Cocktail bar hidden inside of el Ocho. Oji-San and Michael are still in soft opening, but the drinks are fantastic and they really take good care of their customers. Go! - Andreas Reuther
