Landmarks can sometimes be hard to in Vienna. Everywhere you look, you'll witness incredible architecture . However, this majestic roman-gothic masterpiece is absolutely unmistakable. A must visit.
Scenic views , architecture , amazing view of the city , breathtaking Wien from north tower. You can use an elevator or steps
Be among the first of the day to enter Vienna’s landmark gothic cathedral . Those with a head for heights should climb the 343 steps for fabulous views from the top of the south tower (€3.50/£2.80).
The Symbol of Vienna ......you simply cannot visit Vienna without seeing St. Stephen's Cathedral ,gothic atmosphere and the Baroque High Altar is absolutely stunning !
Beautiful restored medieval romanesque cathedral with many ghotic elements - a masterpiece in the heart of Vienna ; every few days, great concerts are being held here; many extra things to visit here;
The must visit place when in Vienna. Beautiful and ugly at the same time. Lots of touristy places around it, but within short walk you can find very nice places to eat and drink.
Nice view over the city , better than the wheel, in my opinion, as this is in the touristic downtown area. Has an interesting interior and history/design also. A must visit overall
Free admissionon the side area, if you want to see the praying area you need to buy ticket (inside on the left there’s a booth ) and there’s special time that will be written on the board.
Centrally located in heart of OldTown, in middle of PedestranianStreet. Impressive, beautiful, one of the must-visit spots. Roof has special eagle image. Possible catch a horse-carriage just in front.
I mean it is massive and amazing. The entrance is free but some parts such as underground and tower is subject to fee but it is definitely worth seeing.
Every route leads here. Free wifi . You cant miss the cathedral while visiting Wien. Free entrance but you need 5,5 euros to take the lift to the roof
Vienna's most famous landmark ... you can actually climb inside the spire, not just take the lift to the big bell, did you know that?
The main nave is open for tourists Mon-Sat 9:00-11:30 & 13:00-16:30, Sun 13:00-16:30. Base ticket is recommended.
Breathtaking cathedral in the center of Vienna. Free entrance. Definitely worth a visit.
The view is absolutely great! But the main disadvantage is huge amount of dark uncomfortable stairs. So if you are not good at sport , just go strait to the opposite Northen tower with the elevator )))
Beautiful cathedral with free entry, a popular destination down town so prepare for crowds every time of the day though!
Breath taking view from the top and you get to see the details of the building while on the way to the top
One of the must of vienna sights!! the view from the top is stunning !! you can try the elevator instead of the 343 steps .
Huge monumental building. Must see if in Vienna. Better to go up the tower to get a view on the city center
The Church is beautiful from the outside, inside it is chock full of pushy tourists with not a lot to see. Compared to other churches in Europe it's not so worthwhile to venture inside
Pay for the treasury tour and you'll get a fab higher level view of the cathedral interior without a crowd.
This tryptic altar is open during xmas season and up to cuaresma.
This is an active church so time your visit accordingly or you'll be in the back until after mass.
Go up the north tower for €6. Short wait for the elevator and great view .
St. Stephen's Cathedral , the heart of Vienna and Austria's most eminent Gothic edifice, houses a wealth of art treasures. Read more
Finally something for free in this town ! Worth the visit for sure!
Great view from the top ! You can take the stairs or the elevator for 5,5€
Worth visiting, especially when there is music performance in cathedral itself
Incredible architecture !!!!it's astonishing!!!!you must visit it!!!!
Beautiful church . Unfortunately crowded with grown-ups who could not be quite when I visited it. Maybe a good idea to visit it early when they open.
buy a all inclusief ticket, definitly worth it! it will take you back to the history of the church and the design
ust like the great ferries wheel the St Stephan’s cathedral in the city center is one of Vienna’s famous landmarks .
Breathtakingly beautiful cathedral in the heart of Vienna . Seemed to be €5.50 to get to the top now
Breathtaking cathedral ! Please be quiet and respect people going to church ????
More impressive from the outside than the inside at least if you have seen curches and cathedrals in Italy and Spain.
Beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere ❤
Nice but I like it better from the outside
North Tower is outdoors, has a better view AND an elevator . Even if you want the exercise, skip the South Tower . Way anticlimactic.
After so many years, I still love walking on Stephansplatz so much! This place is one of the best things about Vienna!
Beautiful church . Must visit inside and out.
Nice architecture & one of the best area to visit in Vienna
Beautiful church in the center of the city !
This is an exclusive example of gothic architecture and a must when in Vienna
Very nice church , there's no entrance fee so just have a look inside!
The Stephansdom, the city ’s famous cathedral , is a towering house of worship wedged into a modest size square known at the Stephansplatz.
It's impressive to see from the inside and outside, but the tours are a bit messy. Nonetheless, worth a visit!
It is the landmark of Vienna and a must-see for tourists . P.S. It looks like it's made of lace. ☺️
Paying 4.5 Euros to climb 343 stairs until reaching the top. It was the most annoying experience of my vienna trip.
Majestic.. Do take the elevator to the top of the church to get the overview of Vienna..
The best place to see the colorful tiles on the church ceiling.
Interesting small collection of old books and Stephansdom belongings - Julia Kryvomaz
There’s a lift up, the entrance is from the inside of the cathedral, the price - 6€, the view is amazing ) - Kristina Mutalapova
Nice wiev on the Vien - Petr Novozámský
