Midden in de stad, aan de Binnenrotte, staat de langste markt van Europa, de Rotterdamse centrummarkt. Met z’n 465 kramen op dinsdag en zaterdag is dit bijna de grootste markt van Nederland. Bijna tweeënhalve kilometer kan je slenteren langs allerlei koopwaar.

This is a standard food market , comparable to Albert Cuyp in Amsterdam. Get your fruits , veggies , fish and flowers here for a reasonable price. For a farmers market , go to Oogstmarkt (Noorderplein).

The biggest open market in the city . You can always find good vegetables and fruit here. The prices are usually much lower than in the supermarkets .
It’s worth coming here for fresh fish , Turkish bread and vegetables . There’s also a guy selling Italian “radicchio trevisano” right after the fish stalls !

Normally if you go late in the afternoon (e.g. 4 / 5 pm aka when the stalls are about to close) most of the fruits and vegs are sold at a reduced price. Best time to score some cheap deals, yo!
Be careful there could be pickpockets around! Try the cheeses :D

Heerlijke markt voor groente fruit kaas stoffen noten marrokaanse en turkse producten
Grote gezellige markt. Pas op voor meeuwen poep. Moest nieuwe kleding kopen
