One of the last few good traditional boozers in the area. Beers are cheap for Manchester city centre and it’s not rough. Great pit stop for a pint on most days.
Rooms upstairs are much nicer than the pub might suggest and good value for money . Very friendly staff if a touch disorganised. Would stay again.
Go upstairs to the Garden Terrace if it's nice out. Even if the bar upstairs is closed they will still open it. Just buy drinks downstairs.
Pretty smelly pub but the roof top seating makes up for it
Good selection of ales and an excellent roof terrace ...if there's seats left!
A lot nicer inside than I thought it would be. Nice place to call for a drink.
Very busy and lively local feel pub
Great roof garden . If it's dry.
It's a nice pub but it's pretty expensive
Go upstairs
Poor cider/lager/beer choice relatively pricey but great decor.
New menu started yesterday! Crab cakes are phenomenal. Also the sqiud ink linguine was on point. Highly recommend both - Abel Arriaga
Belting pub, good pint of cask ale. Proper Mancunian boozer with no hint of pretention. - Michael Holdsworth
An amazing range of local keg and cask beers, friendly staff and historic interior. Check the ceiling out… ;-) - John Howarth
Fresh, genuine and tasty food, fantastic customer service, good prices. - Corrado Pisanu
Befriend some local ex cons. Get amazingly drunk. Wander to another pub where you will be asked if you can skin up. From here on everything should get a bit blurry and you will forget most of it. - Racco
