Fantastic place not to be judged by the building. Delicious and HUGE fish and chips . Also had the goats cheese bruschetta for starter was delicious. Don't get it if you want to eat all of your main.

Pub with amazing atomspehere. All 4 floors are worth to visit. Very friendly service . On two last floors you can smoke. In colder seasons they set up fire in fireplaces . Highly recimmended!

A Tardis, with two floors of hidden roof terrace . Always lively . Good wine selection . The food is almost always brilliant, in particular go for a roast or one of the specials.

The burgers are absolutely lovely but huge. Don't get a starter if you want to finish. The chips weren't great. Sunday roasts are also massive and delicious. Generally good value pub grub .

The fig & goats cheese bruschetta starter was dayyummm. Food is really good. They have a 2 level terrace , quite specious.

Very tasty Sunday roast and toffee pudding . Huge place but quite crowded , friendly and casual vibe . Prices are reasonable

They have a roof terrace with some cool Guinness toucan themed wall paintings .

The upstairs smoking area is my favorite. Fires lit on cold days, and easy to sit, order a drink, and still smoke, without having to go outside.

Disappointed with the “Free range Roast Chicken & Stuffing” which was served without stuffing, which I was told I didn’t get as I ordered a Yorkshire Pudding (charged extra for). Veg lacked seasoning.

Best thing about the Lion & Lobbo roast is that you can have half and half if u can't decide what meat to have or whether to have a nut roast. I had pork and beef . Delicious.

Great place for a beer ! Get also the ribs and the chicken wings ! Love it!

Atmosphere and the best Sunday roast in Brighton

Great all-rounder. Local ales , decent food, roof terrace , football on TV .

Head up to the top floor roof terrace . Gets the sun all day!

Check out all 4 floors, plus the resturant on the second floor (first left as you go up the stairs)! Come in on a winters day for on of the wood fire 's.

Very disappointing Sunday roast . Everything is bland and flavourless (except the veggie gravy which tasted of fish , yuk). The staff are untrained and the food was served luke warm. Such a shame.

Dog friendly - at least in the pub . We had a table with 4 people and 3 dogs and nobody batted an eyelid at us
