Try the vision of the basilica at night! It's breathtaking. Buy a nice ice cream at gelato rosa, walk around the basilica and enjoy the silence. Sit in the outdoor seats of the cafes around the plaza .
Stunning interior & gorgeous view from the rooftop ! Definitely worth the token entrance fee of only 200 & 500 huf. The direct walk to chain bridge and across the Danube is perfect all round. Enjoy! ☺️
Spectacular Landmark from outside and inside ???? small square in front of Bazilica is perfect place for Christmas market in winter..love this place ❤️
If you are going to the viewing terrace at the top of the dome there is a second lift when you get out of the first. The view is stunning and it’s well worth the effort!
Amazing Basilica. There are Perfect European Baroque interior & exterior. Yo can climb the roof and observe the city ’s landscape from the top. Also you can find some galleries on some floors.
Beautiful church . I believe oldest or largest in Budapest. Only donations asked for to enter ($200 forint) You can also go to the top of the dome for views of the city for a small fee.
Great architecture ! Free organ concerts — check the schedule at the entrance. Don't forget to put the phone into silent mode.
The building is gorgeous both from inside and outside. They have a roof where you can see the rest of the city
For a small fee, ascend to the balcony of the Basilica dome, offering some of the best views of the city . There is also Parliament House and nice walks in the streets of District V nearby.
The view from the top is great, definitely a must visit.
Obscenely beautiful. Begs you to consider how many people suffered to enable this level of budget. It also begs you to consider who this church is for when the king is placed atop of the altar..
Definitely worth the 500HUF to visit the tower by stairs or elevator . Mind your head when using the stairs!
Huge Cathedral . 200 HUF - mandatory 'donation' to enter the temple . Rooftop panorama is must visit!
So beautiful from outside, amazing inside, fantastic at night with lights! A must see spot. Be careful while taking photos, bikers may hit you.
One of the largest Christmas fairs in Budapest also has a 200m2 ice rink, open to children. The little ones can also participate in free skating lessons under the festive lights.
A stunning Basilica both outside and inside. Be sure to go in, and have a 200 Florint coin with you!
"One of the largest Christmas fairs in Budapest also has a 200m2 ice rink, open to children. The little ones can also participate in free skating lessons under the festive lights."
A very pretty church . Lots of festivals held in the square so quite tricky to get good photos of the exterior.
Beautiful neoclassical church that took over half a century to build following the collapse of its dome in a storm.
awesome church , great ornaments and decorations. Don't miss the Black Madonna and the hand of St. Stephen in the small chapels.
Just an incredible place in the heart of Budapest. The view from the Basilicas’ panorama is incredible.
Definitely worth a visit. Stunning interior and from the tower you get a great view over Budapest.
In Christianity I've heard the greed is one of the 7 deadly sins.. Apparently the church administration hasn't heard of it.. They openly ask for money in every part of basilica for everything.. £€$
You must visit this church .The inside is charming and luxurious. You can also pay a ticket to see the view of Budapest city from rooftop .
Beautiful basilica, one of the must see destinations when visiting Budapest.
Entrance is free even some write about 200 huf, no one made us pay anything. Observation platform costs 1000 huf. You can get there both by lift or steps.
Beautiful inside and outside view from the top of Basilica. Also dont forget to take a look at the mummified hand of St Steven
This unusual cathedral features in the main altar not Jesus but St. István, Hungary’s first Christian king.
Beautiful monument right in the city center! Walk inside and see this famous cathedral for the full experience.
the tallest building in the area with panorama view from the tower. much cheaper than the ferris wheel on Erzsébet square, but offers the same experience.
One of the most adored buildings in Budapest, this Church is well worth the visit. We suggest walking from the Danube side to get the full effect of this incredible building!
Amazingly big and beautiful! On of the musts of Pest. I didn't go inside and don't regret it.
Gorgeous view ❤️???? Definitely worth to see ????
The guy on main altar is not a Christ or St.Mary - it is István. Almoust nobody in hungary really know it, but it is true)))
Beautiful cathedral that hosts a large Christmas market infront of the cathedral .
Worth entering! Do not miss the view from the top!
It's magical on the inside and the outside. The roof tiles are fromm the fairy tales
Go to the California coffee place next door for a well deserved beverage after climbing the tower

Very beautifully designed. It's great they don't charge you at the entrance yet like in most mayor cities .
Kubbe mükemmel.. Dome is perfect..
