One of the best Speakeasy 's you'll find. Their Whiskey Sours with raw egg are the best. On weekends they have burlesque dancers and live music .

Get the mojito punch bowl. They were DELICIOUS and a better value than the bottles, esp. if you're with a group. Stand near bottom of stairs during shows if u want a chance to dance w/ the lovely lady

Latin jazz club speakeasy - enter thru an amoire/closet. Get a group of 6 & reserve a bottle service table in main room to checkout the Latin jazz band & burlesque dancers . Will def go back!

Best cocktails ! The atmosphere is out of This world. A hidden gem in this big and crowded city , with live salsa and dancers . By far my favorite spot for a night out

Great bar except you enter through a closet every time like its a fuckin Disneyland ride. The hostess even slides the clothes hangers aside. Every time.

Cocktail menu aside, which by the way is magnificent, what I love about this destination is the dress code. For the most part, LA is very casual , but La Descarga defies convention !

It has the coolest secret entrance through a closet . The show with the dancers and live band are really nice. Drinks are a bit pricey .

Place is very small and intimate.They said they have a burlesque show but it was so crowded I wasn't able to see it. Great atmosphere though!I would go back :) hopefully next time I get to see it

New favorite spot. Come in for Tiki Tuesday so that the bartender can get creative and make you something rum amazing in a coconut .

Cigars , cigs, hipsters & rum all in one packed bar . Not a comfortable situation. Go early for a drink and a smoke or be prepared to get spilled on.
