Highly recommend riding a bike on most of the trails , otherwise you will tire out/run out of time and won't be able to do too much in a day. But...this place is really amazing. Especially the beach !
Back Bay Wildlife Refuge no longer allows any dogs so if you access from the Virginia side you can only bring a dog if you come via water.
Hard to get her but worth it! Be sure and see both the ocean and bay sides of the park !
best place to go mountain biking hands down.
Get away from it all.
